At first I was surprised how I ended up in a miscellaneous room while on Booking I booked a 4 bed room for females. The bathroom was too small without towel hanger, and I could barely open or close the doors (especially for the room for 4 people!!!). There was a stain on the ceilling and parts of the ceilling... This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had! The rooms are dated, dark, and gloomy. The bathroom shower curtain let all of the water out leaving the floor sopping wet and slippery. The room was NEVER cleaned, we were NEVER given any fresh sheets OR towels. There were mosquitos flying around EVERYWHERE, tons of bug bites! Overall, the hotel... More

It is a residential place with steep stairs, a frighteningly old elevator, extremely small cramped rooms with a bathroom so small that you can hardly enter. The reception is a block away. People at the reception speaks little English, so it is quite difficult to explain your problems. Location is okay, but I believe you can get a better place... More

This property has reception desk and some rooms in one building, and rest of the rooms in another building. We were given a room in the 2nd building, which is about 150 foot away from the building with reception desk. That second building is very old, and our room was in the top floor. the elevator is too small to... More

It should be borne in mind that the hotel is located in several buildings - reception, half of the rooms are in one in Via Reparata, 33, and another part of the room is on the top floor of a residential building with very steep stairs and an elevator, designed for 1.5 persons. The rooms are very, very old with... More

Booked a single room here for a week, via Hotwire.com. On arrival I discovered that my 'hotel room' was in fact a bed within a mixed dormitory. The genuinely helpful staff explained that this is a regular occurrence, with Hotwire. They managed to rebook me into another hotel from the second night of my stay. The people that run Veneto... Only real good things were friendly staff and conveniently situated. We were actually sent here after being booked in and paid at a more expensive hotel - ie we were downgraded but thus us not Veneto's fault... There is no lift and the steps are kind of steep to the 2nd floor The shower cubicle is tiny There was a... More

Hotel Veneto has different types of rooms. They have private rooms and mixed dorm rooms. Mixed dorm rooms mean there are other people, male or female, in the room with you. Private room means you have your own private room with bathroom. The staff is very helpful. I was a female traveling alone and they were very nice and caring... More

This is no way a 3 star hotel although it's quite pricey for what you get. The room was very small and with outdated furniture. There was not enough room to hang clothes in the small wood closet, no security locker in room, old mattresses with a dirt old disgusting cover. The walls were full of stains (some weird, like...
