I arrived at 11.30Pm and was quickly checked in. As there was no elevator the guy on reception carried by bag up the flight of stairs so i have no complaints. Walking distance to the train station & the centre of florence. Great air con. Room was hot when i arrived however it quickly cooled the room down

The hotel was a disaster from when we checked in! We just returned from Italy. We had flown to Italy at the end of my daughters study abroad from college and was staying 4 nights in Florence. When we checked in, the hotel staff helped us take our luggage up 3 flights of stairs since there is no elevator. It... More

I stayed here with two friends as part of our inter rail trip. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome helping us with any questions we had! The bed was comfy and a spacious room! Great location about 10 minute walk to the Duomo and 5 to the train station. The wifi was... More

I travelled to Florence with 2 other friends, we were so pleased when we arrived in our hotel after a long travelling day! It was so clean, the wifi was excellent, but above all the hotel staff were fabulous. They were very very friendly and recommended us restaurants and showed us places to go in Florence! In terms of location,... More

Stayed 2 nights. Quiet place. Room was adequate with comfortable twin beds and bathroom, downstairs, backing onto small courtyard. Obviously needed work around the building but was OK for the price. A small sitting room near the front desk provided space if not wanting to be in your room. Could get a coffee from the breakfast bar when requested. Breakfast... More

Had a short stopover in Florence over the weekend. Didn't have much time exploring this beautiful city, but needed a place to bunk over. And this hotel provided just that. Friendly front office staffs, small rooms but adequate enough, the rooms has all the basic amenities. Breakfast was simple, very simple to be exact. One girl manning the cafe and... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 5 nights exploring Florence and its surrounding. We paid a very reasonable price for our stay. Pros: helpful staff, right in the downtown and historic areas, tons of restaurants around, decent breakfast, WiFi in the room. Cons: small rooms and showers. Veneto is about 12 minutes on foot from the SMN train... More

We had to find this hotel at the very last moment or else I would had never chosen this hotel again! We stayed there for 2 days and the price they charge you for very little service and smallest room is outrageous! Seriously if you have big luggages you can't fit in this room. It's either you or the baggages.... More

San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections.
