Stayed 2 nights. Quiet place. Room was adequate with comfortable twin beds and bathroom, downstairs, backing onto small courtyard. Obviously needed work around the building but was OK for the price. A small sitting room near the front desk provided space if not wanting to be in your room. Could get a coffee from the breakfast bar when requested. Breakfast... More

Had a short stopover in Florence over the weekend. Didn't have much time exploring this beautiful city, but needed a place to bunk over. And this hotel provided just that. Friendly front office staffs, small rooms but adequate enough, the rooms has all the basic amenities. Breakfast was simple, very simple to be exact. One girl manning the cafe and... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 5 nights exploring Florence and its surrounding. We paid a very reasonable price for our stay. Pros: helpful staff, right in the downtown and historic areas, tons of restaurants around, decent breakfast, WiFi in the room. Cons: small rooms and showers. Veneto is about 12 minutes on foot from the SMN train... More

We had to find this hotel at the very last moment or else I would had never chosen this hotel again! We stayed there for 2 days and the price they charge you for very little service and smallest room is outrageous! Seriously if you have big luggages you can't fit in this room. It's either you or the baggages.... More

When I booked this hotel through budgetplaces.com it rated it as a 3 star property ... I'm not sure how this can be so! It was very difficult to get my luggage from reception to my room, although I did have assistance from staff when I checked in. The wi-fi connection in my room didn't work and the connection in... This hotel is very close to the major sights of Florence. Top marks for that. But otherwise it is a poor choice of accommodation. My room was so small that I could only open my suitcase on the bed. The shower stall was so small that the shower curtain stuck to my back. The air conditioning was broken, the staff... More

Too expensive for what they offer. At first we were shocked but then put up with it as according to reviews some rooms were much worse. Dont order breakfast there!!! I am not a demanding tourist but it was really very poor and bad quality. Stinky towels. In general taking in account the prices for lodging in Florence, the hotel... More

Staff were helpful, good location and price. Room 209, I have been locked up in better police cells! 3 stars is laughable. En suite had loo, basin and shower all in same meter by meter and a half space, quite a plumbing feat.

Hotel is in a great location for Central Florence and about 15 mins walk from the train station. These really are the only positives!! The reception staff are two ends of the spectrum, either looking hassled and sweaty and in fact unorganised, or laid back and not bothered. There is one nice girl who serves breakfast and is helpful, but... More

My husband and I and our three children stayed at Hotel Veneto. Great location, walking distance to ALL major attactions. Our room was not very big but it was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was okay. Our room was on the third floor so we got plenty of exercise walking up the stairs. Eddy at the front desk was very... More
