We spent three nights at Hotel Corona D'Italia as part of a package tour with Riviera Travel. The hotel is a typical 'no frills big city' one; small reception area and surrounded by busy streets. But what this did mean was that it was ideally placed right in the centre of Florence, just ten minutes from the "Doumo"... the main... More

Nice basic hotel no-frills. Great breakfast. Too bad the Wi-Fi was not free. Hotel is in good location. Within walking distance from train station. Fleamarket close by. Bathrooms a little different than what we're used to in the USA and I don't just mean the bidet. Bring your own washcloths if you use them. I don't think they use them... More

Stayed in Hotel Corona D' Italia for three nights as part of out Riviera trip to Tuscany. No problems with hotel at all. As we were at the back, the market guys did not disturb us at all. It was so quiet in our room we could have been out in the country. The location of the hotel is perfect... More

Most of the positive points have already been mentioned. truly, a very clean hotel. you really realize that they take very care of their equipment. also, the breakfast is very nice as well as the room for a three star hotel. some people wrote about rude staff. I can absolutely not confirm this, since everyone is very friendly and helpful.... More

the hotel location is very central - you can see this from the map. The hotel cooperates with the garage across the street. There was no issue at all with unload luggage and overnight parking. At the same price range, most of the other hotels in the city center are rather shabby, but this one was clean and provided all... More

nice hotel in the heart of florence. walking distance to everything. staff was very accomidating and helpful. word of advice you are right next door the florence central market, and upstairs is an amazing food court with meals that will rival the restaraunts in the area with no cover charges. check it out first before going to far. There are... More

The hotel is very close to the station and far enough away from the tourists meaning it's possible to enjoy florence without the fuss if that's what your looking for. Would definitely recommend the restaurants around the streets of the hotel and the market hall is worth a visit. Breakfast was lovely and the staff helpful. I'd definitely return to... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 night for our honeymoon. The rooms are clean and the front desk was very nice. It was close to everything we needed to walk to. Only complaint was our room was close the the street where the market set up everyday, a little noisy but that's expected in the city I assume.

After traveling around Europe for 16 days, this was our least favorite hotel. Any time we entered or were in the lobby, we were never greeted or looked at. They weren't friendly. Breakfast was okay, again nothing special but adequate I suppose. The leather market was nice being next to the hotel, and it was right outside our room but... More

Just back from a city break with Jet2 holidays. Landed at Pisa Airport and used one of the airport buses. The journey took just over an hour and terminates at the Santa Maria train station.. Hotel is approx. 5 minutes from the station. We had a double room on the 3 floor which was of a adequate size, nice and... More
