Nice hotel, If you are a family of 4, ask for the room on 5th floor as 1st floor room is small. Ok here i go. The rooms are very nice and roomy. The breakfast that is available has a variety of food that is very tasty and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Great location and a short walk to the center of Florence. The wifi is very slow.

The location was within a couple of minutes of walking from the train station which was great but it was also backing onto the street where the market is so we were awake very early from the noise of the stalls setting up. I felt the surroundings were a bit run down as was our room. The hotel itself is... More

Great breakfast! The staff at the desk were very nice and helpful. We were able to keep our bags until our train left. It was very close to the train station and the central market. There was a safe in the room.

This hotel is right in the centre of Florence and only moments from all of the major attractions. The Staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants close by. We really couldn't have asked for more.

Spent a week in this hotel with our 2 kids, it's a lovely, comfortable hotel, very friendly staff (most speak brilliant English). Can't do enough to help you! Rooms are a good size with air conditioning, safe and mini bar. Gorgeous marble bathrooms too! Wifi is an added extra at 10 euros for the week - I personally liked not... More

We paid about $100 dollars a night for a room here, which was good value, considering its location (very near train station) and it included breakfast. (Note: it does not include the local taxes, which were charged upon check-in). However, I would probably describe conditions closer to a hostel, rather than hotel... The bathroom shower curtain was too short, and... More

Hotel was nice and the location was near the Train Station, Market and other great places. This was our first trip to Italy. We needed an extra room from our original reservations. Staff was quick to accommodate. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Happy servers, that greeted you with smiles. Definitely would return back. WIFI was available... More

I stayed at the Hotel Corona for four nights from the 16th-20th July this year. We were a party of four girls in our early 20's and stayed in a quadruple room which was perfect for us - nice and spacious and with four single beds. The room also had a desk and chair, mini fridge with a little room... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
