Five nights in a third floor room on our recent City break to Florence. The hotel is less than ten minutes on foot from the Railway station and within walking distance of all the cultural sites that lie north of the Arno in Florence e.g. Uffizi gallery, Galleria dell'Accademia (statue of David). Lots of good value restaurants within two minutes... More

We stayed here with a travel group. The staff was very nice and accomodating. Make sure to ask the bartender for a espresso or spritz in the evening; even the locals come in for a break! The breakfast was wonderful; fresh oj, fruits, croissants, etc., but the coffee is weak. But, if you ask the bartender for a cappucino, you... More

My friends and my family rented a van from Milan to drive all the way to Florence. Upon arrival at around midnight at the hotel I saw that the roads were kinda small and had no place to park the huge van we rented. But luckily when we checked inn the staff at the front desk informed us that there... More

We stayed here for three days with Riviera Travel. The hotel is in a good central position for the attractions of Florence. We found the staff friendly and always willing to help if asked. The negative side to this place is it is a converted existing building obviously not designed as a hotel. Our room was overlooking a small area... More

We stayed in this hotel as part of a package tour of Florence and Tuscany. The hotel itself is very central and all the places of interest are within an easy stroll. Although our room overlooked the leather street market, it was so soundproofed that we did not hear any noise at all. The bathroom was very modern and must... More

Stayed here for three nights with Riviera Travel.Old style hotel located in the centre of Florence.and located quite handily for visiting the places of interest. The staff were very friendly, and the continental breakfasts were quite adequate. The problem that we found,as did a number of other guests on the tour was with the rooms. There was only one window in the room,in front... Wonderful stay for our 25th anniversary. Bottle of Chianti for us left in our room. The double room 214 had a great street view, super kingsize bed, decorated in typical Tuscan style and clean. The breakfast room was plenty spacious with lots of variety of foods and drinks. The hotel is just a few steps from the railway and bus... More

This was the last hotel in a four city tour with Road Scholar. After moving our way from Rome to Lucca to Siena we ended up in Firenze. This hotel is on a corner of two narrow, busy streets, just North of the Centrale Mercato. Tons of vendor carts line the street during the day. That's part of the charm... More

A fluke the Hotel was on the corner Markets - leather everywhere 24/7! The hospitality people were amazing. Vincent and Francisco were so helpful, welcoming and friendly. Absolutely nothing was a problem. The breakfast was lovely and I loved the style of the breakfast room, truly Florentine amazing. The room was well appointed with a brand new bathroom. There weren't... More
