Far from the city but it's a pretty safe walk - Enjoyed the residential area of Florence. We had a nice room and the impressive terrace was a surprise. We overslept the breakfast, but the staff made us a cappuccino with brioche later anyway, nice and friendly people.

It is actually a very small hotel that looks more like a hostel, the rooms are ok but all have bathrooms, you can hear everything from the other rooms , so basically it is more for students, not really good if you want to relax. The staff speaks poor English and is not very helpful. What is really lovely is... More

Ok so we had a room with a private terasse that had nothing private (just a few trees barely hidind the 2 chairs and table) then we picked this room to have private bathroom which ended up by being either wc inside bathroom or bathroom inside wc meaning the wc were completely wet when you were taking your shower... Dear Claire K, we thank you for your comment. To make this possible, some of our bathrooms have a shower. We regret that our breakfast offering freshly baked croissants, sweet and... More

Set in a more residential area away form the hustle n bustle of Florence old town. Basic but clean. No amenities nearby. Very handy however for the lovely villages on the hill just outside the city (some stunning places to eat). Serviced by bus if you don't have your own car.

We stayed at the hotel in June and we really enjoyed our stay, as others have mentioned it is out the center but there are regular buses ( Once you work out which to get). The hotel is quite far from centre (about 45 min walk depending on your pace), but just a few seconds from the hotel is a bus stop. Don`t expect the bus driver to take pity on ignorant foreigners, they have little patience for questions of any kind. Luckily we were prepared, but ask at reception on how to take the... More

We spent there 4 nights, and loved the place a lot - it's cozy and home-like, and the interiors are very nice. The breakfast was good too. I would recommend to choose rooms upstairs, because our room on the ground floor was a bit too wet.

This hotel was far better than most others that I have had in Italy. They were a little out of the way but worth it. The keys were skeleton keys and a little difficult to use. The staff was kind but didn't give the best directions.
