Set in a more residential area away form the hustle n bustle of Florence old town. Basic but clean. No amenities nearby. Very handy however for the lovely villages on the hill just outside the city (some stunning places to eat). Serviced by bus if you don't have your own car.

We stayed at the hotel in June and we really enjoyed our stay, as others have mentioned it is out the center but there are regular buses ( Once you work out which to get). The hotel has some great features such as the little garden around back and we had a room with a balcony which was nice. it... More

The hotel is quite far from centre (about 45 min walk depending on your pace), but just a few seconds from the hotel is a bus stop. Don`t expect the bus driver to take pity on ignorant foreigners, they have little patience for questions of any kind. Luckily we were prepared, but ask at reception on how to take the... More

We spent there 4 nights, and loved the place a lot - it's cozy and home-like, and the interiors are very nice. The breakfast was good too. I would recommend to choose rooms upstairs, because our room on the ground floor was a bit too wet.

We stayed for 2 nights & were quite happy with everything the hotel offered. We arrived prior to check-in time of 2pm but it was not a problem as they kept our luggage while we set off on our tours. The hotel is more like an old home made into a hotel. Very small rooms but nice & tidy, clean... More

This hotel was far better than most others that I have had in Italy. They were a little out of the way but worth it. The keys were skeleton keys and a little difficult to use. The staff was kind but didn't give the best directions.

The hotel is way out of the city centre, in a quiet residential area toward Fiesole and near the soccer stadium. While the distance walking is not prohibitive, the area is not particularly touristic. Good bussing nearby into town. As previously written the hotel can be very cold and we were very unhappy of it until they raised temps on... More

This is now the third time we have stayed at this hotel (2000, 2004 and 2014, but missed on our 2009 trip). We always try to stay in one of the rooms with terrace access (no.3 or no.4). They are a little smaller, but the terrace access compensates nicely. Breakfast is very nice in a well-appointed room downstairs. Friendly staff... More

We stayed 4 nights in Room 2. Our door opens into the lobby, but we never heard any noise. It is a HUGE room to European standards (it could be used as a triple).
