The hotel is way out of the city centre, in a quiet residential area toward Fiesole and near the soccer stadium. While the distance walking is not prohibitive, the area is not particularly touristic. Good bussing nearby into town. As previously written the hotel can be very cold and we were very unhappy of it until they raised temps on... More

Dear Nolinice, Thank you for the comment that he wanted to dedicate to our Hotel. Our facility, as well as being close to the stadium, is served by buses to reach and in a few minutes every strategic point of Florence. Sorry for the misunderstanding of the key: all our guests have the opportunity to have it in case there... More

This is now the third time we have stayed at this hotel (2000, 2004 and 2014, but missed on our 2009 trip). We always try to stay in one of the rooms with terrace access (no.3 or no.4). They are a little smaller, but the terrace access compensates nicely. Breakfast is very nice in a well-appointed room downstairs. Friendly staff... More

We stayed 4 nights in Room 2. Our door opens into the lobby, but we never heard any noise. It is a HUGE room to European standards (it could be used as a triple). Our window opened on to the main street (again, no noise). You are in a residential area. In the morning, open the window and enjoy watching... More

As budget travelers, we chose Hotel Ungherese based on it's price. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised! The hotel was clean and very charming. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The beds were fairly comfortable and rooms were clean and quite large. The hotel has a great little garden in the back that is awesome for having an evening... More

This hotel is a typically Italian building. The crew is very hopeful. They speak Italian with little known of English. The internet was slow to medium speed. The breakfast was good. It little far from downtown, but if you do not care to walk 5 minutes you can ride a bus. I loved this hotel due atmosphere. It remember construction... More

This hotel is very cheap but could easily charge double. The breakfast is fantastic, our room, though very small, had a great atmosphere and led onto a private garden area. The staff weren't the friendliest but were helpful whenever we needed anything. There is free wifi and the beds are very comfy. However, the bathroom was very small with the... More

Very nice Toscany style rooms/hotel. Nice garden! Good value for money (booked through independent internet site for best price). Not luxurious or trendy, but the Italian traditional style fits perfectly. There is airconditioning in the room and they do provide toilet paper and shower gel. Helpfull, friendly staff. They take time to explain things and have maps and directions for... More

No great luxury, but you get a clean, nice room and breakfast (real Italian coffee) for a very fair price. Real Tuscan flair in the rooms and common areas (terrace in the sun) in a quiet but authentic part of town with good connections both to the centre (Duomo) and up the hill to Fiesole. Friendly staff. I would definitely... More
