A great place to stay., but the rooms are small, the bathrooms tiny. The computer aided tour suggestions on each floor are very helpful and as we were in Florence to see the city, we didn't mind the rooms. The hotel location was the best feature. The rooms were typical of Europe, fairly small, but the bathroom was surprisingly large. The position over the Ponte Vecchio,can’t be easily beaten. Rooms are small with a dated décor, but cleans and comfortable. Hotel is located literally on the edge of the Ponte Vecchio on the south side of the river - step out of the lobby and you are on the bridge in about 10 seconds. Just returned from our first visit to Florence ,stayed at the Pitta Palace and what an excellent choice it turned out to be,perfect location,clean and friendly.Laeft with great memories and the lady on the reception may well be a fan of Bristol Rovers FC now ! The hotel is on old part of the city, near ponte vecchio for a great price. You have also good views to the city from the roof where you can take the breakfast (poor). more
