We went on a four night stay, arriving in the early hours of the morning due to flight delays. The room that we were given was disappointing. The night porter said to sleep it in for that night and we could change rooms later that morning. We were upgraded to a beautiful room on the 5th floor. The bedroom was... More

Couldn't ask for a better location, only 7 metres out the door and you are standing on Ponte Vecchio. The hotel was very clean & quiet, our room was very spacious and we thoroughly enjoyed the air conditioning was was well utilised on very hot afternoons. The views from the restaurant/bar balcony were excellent and being cat people we loved... More

This hotel is in a fantastic central location with bar and restraunt located on the top floor with great views of the old city. Staff were all very polite and helpful whenever needed. Breakfast was ample and varied and whilst the evening menu is relatively limited the food was well presented and tasted fine. Would recommend for families and couples... More

My family and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights based on Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel is right on the Ponte Vecchio so the location is excellent. We thought the hotel is a bit run down. The common areas have a maroon colored carpet which looks like it has seen better days. The breakfast room although has a... More

Dear Sir Thank you for spending your time to write a review about us. We are sorry that our desig did not meet your taste, the carpet is brand new, only two months "old" since we just finished redecorating our Ponte Vecchio lounge with new sofas, chairs, carpet, games and so on. It is a very relaxing area with large... More

We stayed in Florence at the Pitti Palace in July 2015 for 5 days. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel is central to everything - and right at the Ponte Vecchio - any closer and it would be on it ! Train station is a walk , as is the Uffizi, Domus, Michelangelo Piazza, and of... More

We stayed here the week of August 4th. As you can see, I've not written many reviews but after our trip recent trip to Florence, I feel compelled. It's a way of reconnecting with a place I so desperately miss. My wife and I have been fortunate to travel quite a bit... Rome, Paris, the Amalfi Coast and as a... More

Dear Sir It is very hard to answer to your review as a simple thank you is not enough, but it is all that me and my collegues can say deeply from our hearts. We are so proud that you had such a good experience in Florence and, mostly, with us! The "skinny one" could be either Tiziano or Marco... More

My husband and I have enjoyed our recent 5 night stay in this hotel. Very efficient air conditioning, essential as the temp was 30 degrees plus. Although our room was described as deluxe, I don't understand why, it was a little on the small size, the bathroom, while clean and well equipped was very compact. No tea/coffee making facilities although... More

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio for 1 night. We wished we had stayed in Florence longer, but we had a Eurail pass and 17 cities on our schedule. The Ponte Vecchio never fails to impress The sense of being part of history is always a thrill As the tourist travels from one side of the bridge to the other something happens to the sense of wonder felt The view of the Arno never never fails to excite and relax the most weary

The location of this hotel is remarkable. Definitely one of the best spots to stay in the city as it is in the middle of everything. The rooms are small but enough space to live in. Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
