Staff friendly and helpful. Room simple and comfortable. Room on 5th floor gave us a view of the tops of the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio. Our room had a nice, recently fitted en suite with shower. Breakfast - served in a dining room at the top of the hotel (Floor 6) with stunning views across Florence; a little cramped when... More

With other nearby familiar B&B 's booked out I chose this one for convenience & price..& took a View Room, it sounding like an affordable 'luxury'. Affordable was correct....under 100Euros per night inc breakfast, on Level 4---but a few significant downers mean it really cannot be recommended. Wi-Fi could NOT be made to function, there being no reliable signal in... More

Dear Mr John I read your review and I am utterly sorry that we did not fullfill your expectations. We have gone through a full redecoration lately and I can assure you that nothing was done on a doomed-to-failure cost saving exercise. All the appliances have been chosen following the highest standards of quality and safety, of course we will... More

we booked this hotel for a weekend getaway and were not disappointed. Very good price for a clean and comfortable room, and the location is excellent! Not even a minute away from the Ponte Vecchio and 2-3 mins away from Pitti Palace. Breakfast was simple but the views from the terrace were beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Really close to the central tourist area. And quiet enough at night to get a good nights sleep The staff were always very helpful. Only a stones through away from Florence's most famous bridge. I could not recommend it more

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in January. Rooms were great, very clean and beds very comfy. Our room overlooked the Ponte Vecchio and was a little noisy at times as the city is very vibrant even in winter. At times you could also hear the other guests however this did not affect our sleep. All noise ceased prior... More

This is going to be a two pronged review, first delineating a problem we encountered which could effect future travelers, then an actual review of the hotel itself. My husband and I visited this hotel in October 2014. We booked (and paid for) our room in December 2013, choosing the option of the "king sized bed with scenic view". We... More

Dear Eileen I read your review carefully and I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience occurred with your reservation. In those days we really had some troubles with our reservation system that made us overbooked. We did try to contact all the person involved and if we did not reach you I sincerely apologize. Please believe me that it was... More

My family and I vacationed here last March 27 - March 31st. I had been to Florence before and wanted to be a little further away from the central town. This hotel was just lovely and a really great choice for the following reasons: - It's in the trendier Oltrarno neighborhood with lots of great stores and restaurants in walking... More

The location is great as it is so close to many attractions in Florence...However, the bed felt like you were sleeping on a cement slab which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Thankfully with all the bars around finding a strong espresso was easy enough (Nescafè just doesn't cut it - In the breakfast area). The other really annoying thing... More

The hotel charged an additional tax that Easytobook allegedly did not include in the cost. The hotel explained that a government tax for each person for each night was not included in the taxes paid on the Easytobook site. It was a bit of a surprised when we were told that we still had an outstanding cost.

Dear Debrah From July 2010 there is a law about the city tax, in all the website that we control and manage it is clearly stated that an extra charge of 4 euro per person per night is due. Unfortunately we do not manage the website you bboked through and we suggest you to report to them if they failed... More

Stayed at Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio in Florence for 6 nights during October 2014. Phenomenal location and reasonably priced. Nearby combination grocery store and wine shop. Near to major historical attractions and well situated in the Oltrarno artisan district. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Full hot breakfast with great views of Florence. Breakfast room doubles as a restaurant... More
