Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in January. Rooms were great, very clean and beds very comfy. Our room overlooked the Ponte Vecchio and was a little noisy at times as the city is very vibrant even in winter. At times you could also hear the other guests however this did not affect our sleep. All noise ceased prior... More

This is going to be a two pronged review, first delineating a problem we encountered which could effect future travelers, then an actual review of the hotel itself. My husband and I visited this hotel in October 2014. We booked (and paid for) our room in December 2013, choosing the option of the "king sized bed with scenic view". We... More

Dear Eileen I read your review carefully and I am deeply sorry for the inconvenience occurred with your reservation. In those days we really had some troubles with our reservation system that made us overbooked. We did try to contact all the person involved and if we did not reach you I sincerely apologize. Please believe me that it was... More

My family and I vacationed here last March 27 - March 31st. I had been to Florence before and wanted to be a little further away from the central town. This hotel was just lovely and a really great choice for the following reasons: - It's in the trendier Oltrarno neighborhood with lots of great stores and restaurants in walking... More

The location is great as it is so close to many attractions in Florence...However, the bed felt like you were sleeping on a cement slab which made for an uncomfortable nights sleep. Thankfully with all the bars around finding a strong espresso was easy enough (Nescafè just doesn't cut it - In the breakfast area). The other really annoying thing... More

Dear Laura Thank you for writing a review about your stay with us, we are utterly sorry that the quality of our mattrasses did not meet your expectations, many other guests find them very comfortable. We are also sorry that you did not report this inconvenience to us as we have some covers that will make the bed softer. We... More

The hotel charged an additional tax that Easytobook allegedly did not include in the cost. The hotel explained that a government tax for each person for each night was not included in the taxes paid on the Easytobook site. It was a bit of a surprised when we were told that we still had an outstanding cost.

Dear Debrah From July 2010 there is a law about the city tax, in all the website that we control and manage it is clearly stated that an extra charge of 4 euro per person per night is due. Unfortunately we do not manage the website you bboked through and we suggest you to report to them if they failed... More

Stayed at Pitti Palace al Ponte Vecchio in Florence for 6 nights during October 2014. Phenomenal location and reasonably priced. Nearby combination grocery store and wine shop. Near to major historical attractions and well situated in the Oltrarno artisan district. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Full hot breakfast with great views of Florence. Breakfast room doubles as a restaurant... More

I am surprised this hotel is only ranked 75 here!! We had booked for a room based on the location and reviews. We were surprised to get the best room(suite) in the hotel, which is the top floor apartment, with a private sit out with the best view. Amazing value for money. The rooms were extremely Clean and spacious. Staff... More

Location is fantastic being next to Ponte Vecchio. Hotel is rather tired but there are no major problems. The biggest problem is if you are driving the cost of the hotel parking area is extremely expensive and you have to be careful of the congestion charge area in the centre of Florence. In spite of this we really enjoyed this... More

This hotel couldn't be better placed to see all the major sights in Florence. The staff are very helpful and efficient. Some of the rooms on the top floor (5th) are under the restaurant so are a little noisy from around 7am when breakfast is being prepared, no problem if you are an early riser otherwise pretty quiet for a... This hotel isn't "bad" but here is where I think it falls short (and this is my princess opinion only): the wifi is very slow, only one of us could barley use it at a time, and you have to log in each time you leave the room/hotel. The beds are foam mattresses - a bit harder, hotter, might do... More
