The palace is a must see for any Florence visit. Breathtaking paintings and sculptures. Beautiful works by Reuben's as well as Raphael and Titian. The apartments were amazing. The cameo collection the best in Italy. Stroll the Boboli Gardens afterwards and marvel at the sculptures.

Hotel Pittie Palace al Ponte was the second stopover in our three city holiday in Italy. It’s located on the doorstep of the historic Ponte Vecchio Bridge thus for the more adventurers with-in walking distance of some of Florence’s major historic attractions. The surroundings streets are littered with boutiques and should you have ideal time you could end up racking... More

A great trip to Florence and a marvellous place to stay! This hotel was just moments away from the Ponte Vecchio and thus the centre of Florence with all its many and varied attractions. Our rooms were comfortable and provided all we needed. The breakfasts were good with lots of choice and the position of the cafe/restaurant at the top... More

Very helpful and friend staff, the location is excellent for a walking tour of Florence. The breakfast room had a great view but birds and cats making it seem a bit unsanitary. The coffee is from a machine and not homemade as we are used to in Italy. The food was plentiful. The bed was comfortable, the room clean, and... More

Very nice room, clean, modern, wonderful dining terrace with a beautiful view! Right on Ponte Vecchio. The staff had rescued two kittens and you might seen them outside on the dining terrace or down in the lobby behind the front desk. But they keep a close eye on them for their own safety as well as consideration for the guests.... More

The location first, at the foot of the Ponte Vecchio couldn't be more convenient for all the sights of Florence. Everywhere was in walking distance and if you were unsure the "welcome pack" included a detailed map with walking routes. The staff without exception were helpful and friendly. layered on this was a great deal of efficiency and concern for... More

An amazing display of artifacts and architecture. The regal home of the Medicini Family, each room is a jaw dropping experience from the walls, to the floors, to the ceilings, not to mention it's contents. Went on a Friday afternoon in busy July but felt like we had each exhibit to ourselves. So much to see and do. The gardens... More

I went with my parents last year to Florence, we booked the holiday through Expedia and were very excited. When we showed up we were treated very well by all the staff. The breakfast was lovely and the rooms were always clean. The staff were helpful and all spoke English so there was never a problem.

We stayed at the Pitti Palace and found the staff very helpful, the rooms were very clean and comfortable. There was a very wide range of choice at breakfast so there was something for everyone, the waiters were very knowledgable about which wine were the best wines and they weren't wrong, the location is perfect next to the Ponte Vecchio,... Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
