Fantastic little hotel. Very well positioned on the end of Ponte Vecchio, nice rooftop brekky, large clean rooms with comfy bed. Reasonably priced. Short walk from the centre of Firenze that has things to do late into the night....We will be back!

This Hotel must have the best location in Florence. It is situated right at the end of the Ponte Vecchio and only five mins from the Petti Palace and gardens. The view from the terrace across the Arno to the Duomo and tower is fantastic, both in a morning with breakfast and at night with a bottle of vino. The... More

Be aware that Thieves operate in the foyer. On a recent visit my mothers hand bag was stollen while checking in. The thing that really concerned me was that staff said "normally the bag will turn up, they just take the money" first time I have experienced a hotel with that sort of attitude to their customers security.

Dear Guest, we have read your comment on Tripadvisor and are deeply sorry for what happened but we wish to clarify that there has been a misunderstanding because our staff suggested you to go to the Police to make a complaint for theft, because in case someone should have found the bag the Police would have been able to contact... We booked this hotel because it has a superb location, right next to the Ponte Vecchio but on the Oltarno side, close to the Pitti Palace and Santo Spirito. It was a only a short walk from the Station SMN and we were greeted warmly by the staff on Reception and shown up to our room. We were on the... More

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Situated at the end of the Ponte Vecchio, this medium sized hotel is in the middle of or very close to just about everything. Exiting the hotel, just about anything you could want or need (grocery store, shopping, museums, coffee shops), is within a five minute walk. The Uffizi a Museum and... More

The location of this hotel was perfect! You literally walk out of the hotel lobby and the Ponte Vecchio bridge is about 20 feet away. If you are walking around the sites of Florence this is a great place to start. The Uffizi Gallery is diagonally across the Arno and the Piazza della Signoria about a 5 minute walk. The... More

I booked this hotel as part of a tour of Tuscany with my parents. It has a great location; amazingly central and for a reasonable price too. You literally walk outside and trip over the Ponte Vecchio. The rooms are lovely, with enough space and the all important summer air conditioning. The staff are all wonderfully friendly too. And breakfast... More

Situated at the Ponte Vecchio on the edge of the Oltrarno, the Hotel Pitti Palace offers a great starting point to the sights of Florence on both sides of the river. The hotel was undergoing some renovations so it was not always quiet during the day, but the result of work was worth it. Serving a more-typical Italian breakfast, the... More

We are from Australia and stayed 2 nights. Great location but a bit noisy in the morning. Staff were helpful but eat elsewhere. Breakfast is really poor for Italy and the wifi is slow and annoying. If you want a place to eat head up via de Guicciardini and take the first right where you will find a group of... More

Dear Guest Thank you for your review, I am sorry that you did not like our breakfast, we have a rich buffet with hot and cold food, fresh fruits, and many drinks including our Espresso of course. I am also surprised as Via Guicciardini is a very expensive and tourist area...I also apologize if you had a slow connection with wi.-fi... More
