Imagine yourself at the end of a day in Florence - pleasurably overwhelmed by the art treasures, the delicious food, perhaps one too many gelati, the sunshine and shopping (a common occurrence). You need to recharge your battery and escape the hubbub, crowds and city commotion. Cross over the ponte vecchio, assuming you're on the busier north side, walk a... More

A nice house, to the South of Florence centre. Friendly staff. More like staying in a private villa, than a hotel. 20 minute walk into town. Bus stop right outside. No restaurant out of season, but they recommended some good places nearby.

We stayed as a family of four, and had a large room in the loft space with balcony. Perfect accommodation for privacy, staff were exceptionally helpful and practical with advice on how to make the most of this beautiful city. The pool looks nothing like the photographs, although we visited late season, but this was the only thing we were... More

This is a converted villa, set back from the access road, so it is quiet, with a lot of authentic ambiance. There actually is on-site parking, something that is quite rare in Florence. Access is quite good, you can reach most places in Florence within minutes by car. As for the old town/historical center, it is within walking distance (downhill)....about... More

Superb location in a park close to historic sites. Atmospheric hotel, feels like a family home. Very well taken care of by sympathetic friendly owner couple and attentive caring staff. Nice setting in garden with old trees. Wonderful fire place in stylish living room. Spacious public rooms with authentic feel and design details. Just a taxi ride from historic center.... More

Excellent hotel, quiet and breathtaking view. Big room, great bathroom and good space. The host Laura was amazing and helpful, she gave us explanation about the major attractions and distance. Great breakfast with variety of bread, cheese, and local food. The distance from major attractions are around 15 to 20 min but is a beautiful path. We really recommend this... More

We chose this hotel for the second part of our honeymoon, having spent the first part in Rome. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, with a pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The location of the hotel is excellent, out of the city centre and yet within easy reach of the city.... More

My daughter and I visited this hotel on the last night of a 4 night bike-riding itinerary that had placed us in one to 4 star properties. This was definitely the top star of that experience. The staff is gracious, knowledgeable and their English is incredible. Laura Mariotti (spelling?) at the front desk is an amazing resource for all kinds... More

Florence is charming, and this hotel is a great base to explore. The location... Yes it's out the city, but it's certainly not isolated! It's a manageable walk in, as well as having a bus stop outside for the tourist bus and the regular bus. We found it easy to commute to the historic centre, with the park palace a... More

The Park Palace ticked many many boxes; living up to the photographs published it provided a spacious quality venue for a trip to Florence - far enough out not to be bothered my traffic and noise yet only 15-20 a minute walk from the centre. Transfer from Florence easy and economical of cost and time. Breakfast good quality and choice,... More
