Superb location in a park close to historic sites. Atmospheric hotel, feels like a family home. Very well taken care of by sympathetic friendly owner couple and attentive caring staff. Nice setting in garden with old trees. Wonderful fire place in stylish living room. Spacious public rooms with authentic feel and design details. Just a taxi ride from historic center.... More

Excellent hotel, quiet and breathtaking view. Big room, great bathroom and good space. The host Laura was amazing and helpful, she gave us explanation about the major attractions and distance. Great breakfast with variety of bread, cheese, and local food. The distance from major attractions are around 15 to 20 min but is a beautiful path. We really recommend this... More

We chose this hotel for the second part of our honeymoon, having spent the first part in Rome. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful, with a pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing, and we certainly weren't disappointed. The location of the hotel is excellent, out of the city centre and yet within easy reach of the city.... More

My daughter and I visited this hotel on the last night of a 4 night bike-riding itinerary that had placed us in one to 4 star properties. This was definitely the top star of that experience. The staff is gracious, knowledgeable and their English is incredible. Laura Mariotti (spelling?) at the front desk is an amazing resource for all kinds... More

Florence is charming, and this hotel is a great base to explore. The location... Yes it's out the city, but it's certainly not isolated! It's a manageable walk in, as well as having a bus stop outside for the tourist bus and the regular bus. We found it easy to commute to the historic centre, with the park palace a... More

The Park Palace ticked many many boxes; living up to the photographs published it provided a spacious quality venue for a trip to Florence - far enough out not to be bothered my traffic and noise yet only 15-20 a minute walk from the centre. Transfer from Florence easy and economical of cost and time. Breakfast good quality and choice,... More

We have stayed in Florence two times before: once near the railway station, once right beside the Ponte Vecchio, and now in the hills outside Florence at the Park Palace Hotel. I chose this hotel because it looked like an old fashioned Florentine villa and it definitely is that - the outside area and the downstairs lounge area are completely... More

I chose this hotel carefully from TA reviews. We wanted a peaceful, comfortable retreat south of the city that we could drive to easily from Pisa airport (without getting into those dreaded off limit roads in the centre) and where we could safely leave the car while we spent time in Florence. This suited us perfectly and we absolutely loved... More

We chose the Park Palace from trip advisor recommendations and because we had to have parking. It is a rather lovely old villa with a good atmosphere and very pretty grounds. The staff were really excellent - helpful, friendly and fun. The location isn't ideal for tourists - while the 20 minute walk into the city is very pleasant during... More

I have chosen hotels from previous recommendations on tripadvisor and have always been pleased with the places I have stayed. However this hotel is an exception. It is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful gardens on the outskirts of Florence and it takes 20 to 25 mins to walk to the city which is downhill but I wouldn't recommend... More
