We stayed at park palace in sept of 2013...it overlooks Florence with a great view all around...about 20 minute walk to porta vecchio bling shops (Pat cashed in on all of her "rain checked" deffered presents...ouch) any way...sensational hotel, good room.....normally I avoid hotel food but we ate dinner there 2 nights out of 3 dinners...the house wine was a... We stayed here just 2 nights. A real gem. Friendly, beautifully furnished, and incredibly atmospheric. Lovely to be away from the hustle and bustle of Florence itself, yet only an 18 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio. The pool makes it a great refuge during the day. Fabulous. ( but no tea-making facilities! My major gripe with Italian hotels!! )

We stayed for 5 nights at Park Palace and wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. You are not in downtown Florence, but the bus which takes you very close to Ponte Vecchio is right outside the hotel. Alternately you could walk the lovely tree-lined street if you were so inclined. It was wonderful to be able to come back to... More

Very nice hotel, old villa in a garden like setting. Small and very comfortable. Nice garden with pool, great breakfast. Only a short walk to Florence, or take the bus outside the hotel. Great selection of nearby restaurants. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would stay again. Free internet, We had rooms facing the pool and garden which also had large... More

We stayed at the Park Palace for only two nights en-route to rome in June. The main reason for choosing this hotel (again) was the availability of on-site parking and easy access to the autostrada (note that the parking is not free). We generally prefer small boutique hotels and this one is also rather beautifully furnished. I booked two connected... More

A lovely old world charm hotel within 20 mins walking distance of the centre of Florence .the staff are very pleasant and helpful . Lovely terrace for breakfast and the swimming pool in the garden is a nice way to revive after a day sightseeing . Really quiet and relaxing .

Just returned from a four day stay at The Park Palace. What a fabulous place! The setting is beautiful and the short walk down to the centre of Florence was one of the highlights of the trip. Each day we returned to relax by the pool, which provided the perfect end to the day. I cannot speak highly enough of... More

My wife and I recently spent three nights here in a stunning room with a balcony. The hotel is a twenty minute walk into Florence or the local bus Is right outside. The hotel is also Conveniently located near Piazzale Michelangelo where you have magnificent views of the sun setting over Florence. The pros are the wonderful staff, the great... More

We found the Park Palace to be the perfect place for us to spend our break in Florence. Not everyone has the same requirements but...... This is what we enjoyed: Being away from the crowds! The breakfast! - sitting outside overlooking the lovely pool and garden eating a lovely range of fresh food, delicious fruit, bread ham cheese, pastries and... More
