Awesome Location, Room pretty big and Clean. Breakfast average. Parking was not FREE, even though I had confirmation of my MY prior request, that was " parking will be available at no charge" - became to be 27 EU PER NIGHT. I would not stay at this B&B again, and would not recommend, kinda bla...

My husband and I stayed at La Gradiva for three nights in October 2014. While we loved the location, the size of the room and the balcony, the service was lacking. Our experience was not as pleasant as other reviewers. We found the building easily enough, but once we got there we couldn't get in. I had emailed Ricardo with... More

Sleeping in a hotel is so last year. A bed and breakfast on the other hand is a lot more personal. We went to Italy and stayed in B&B La Gradiva. Something we didn't regret! Read this review and maybe you'll find yourself there soon. At the heart of Florence, B&B La Gradiva is the perfect location if you're planning... More

We jus sayed at La Gradiva (family with 9 year old) and we must say it is a lovey, lovely place. The location is super, basically about 50 m from the end of Ponte Vecchio. The room we were in was large, with a balcony overlooking the street (but no issue with noise). What made our stay very special indeed... More

Our first trip to Florence was a great experience as we booked great accommodation at this B&B. Ricardo the owner was a wonderful host, making us a beautiful breakfast each morning, very interesting man full of information and interesting stories, nothing was too much trouble, the rooms were very spacious and clean and a fantastic location right near the ponte vecchio... The best breakfast I have ever had at an Italian hotel (which includes 4* and 5* hotels in Rome and Amalfi) Riccardo amazingly friendly and helpful, great stories and lovely to chat to. The girl who covers his days off is lovely as well. The location is superb, about 100 yards from Ponte Vecchio, great restaurants on the Via San... More

Assuming you are reading this review because you are looking for well-priced accommodation in an excellent location in Florence then you are looking in the right place. The La Gradiva is a small guest-house where there is a chance to sample Italian hospitality in a location that is ideally placed to explore the city. It is just a few paces... More

it is a newly furnished apartment in the center of florence, just at the end of the Ponte Vecchio. it took us about half an hour to find it since the numbers of the roads are quite tricky. the room is quite big, and very modernly furnished and artistically decorated. the bed is very comfortable. very very clean! the owner... I was the first to arrive of our little girl group- and I was greeted by the B&B owner Riccardo at the entrance of the gallery. Riccardo arranged our taxi service, prepared amazing coffee and breakfast each morning and made sure we had anything we needed during our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, bathrooms are modern and... More

Nice B&B in a (I wood say) perfect location to visit Firenze on foot, also during the night, close to restaurants and facilities. The house is nice and the room/bathroom is clean. Breakfast is with fresh made croissants, milk/coffee/tea/juice (not salty). I would suggest it for short stays, as you don't have the room cleaning service or change for towels/sheet... More
