This hotel was chosen for us by Perillo Tours. When we booked, we were told there was a beautiful terrace, but we learned it closed October 1. The hotel is walking distance from the train station, and the staff is helpful but does not offer opinions or suggestions. Wifi is poor-limited to the (very charming) lobby. Room spacious, as is... Great location! Minutes away from the train station and around the corner from The Duomo. Walkable with luggage from the train station. Large lobby with wifi. Good size room with good breakfast. Walking distance to everything. The hotel is off the main road so not as loud. Rooftop has an amazing view of the city. Take a day trip. Tours... More

One good location close to railway station, two nice room with cathedral wooden ceiling, three roof top bar closed and only seasonable alternative lobby bar lacking in atmosphere and customers, four no English speaking tv channels at all, five poor breakfast scrambled eggs tasted reconstituted as did the juices and bread felt stale, tinned fruit salad in a 4* hotel??

We booked this hotel as part of a bargain weekend package we had found through Expedia. After arriving at Pisa airport, we had pre-booked (on line before leaving the UK) transfers using a company called Terravision and the transfer from the airport to central Florence was only €5 each way per person - taxis can cost over €100 each way... Good location, only a few minutes from train station and airport shuttle bus.Room okay, quite small but large bathroom. Breakfast was quite good. Was very disappointed to find that the roof terrace was closed for refurbishment as this was the main reason I chose to stay at this hotel. The downstairs bar was never open throughout our 3 night stay and... More

Only a few minutes walk from the railway station and convenient to most of the City. There are several nice bars and resturants in the street or around the corner. Bear in mind this is a relatively small city. The hotel entrance is rather lacklustre and down a small side street. Inside, the reception and common areas are more open... More

We recently stayed 3 nights. Good location, near the Duomo and our room and facilities were acceptable for an older establishment. But, we ran afoul of the restaurant manager for sipping wine in a lounge area off the lobby. He rudely confronted us because he sells wine from his bar, which I understand, but his bar was never open during... More

This is a strange hotel. The buildings are listed so they have kept much of the building in the old style. We were given a rather small dark room with a huge balcony outside our windows where people came to talk and to have a cigarette. The tobacco of course came into our room and the discussions where very loud... More

I loved this property. It didn't start out this way though. Leaving your key at the front desk is not something I have to do 99.9% of the places I stay. On this trip to Europe, it happened at two hotels. I'm told higher end hotels do this. Needless to say, I got over it. The room was spacious and... More
