This was a very typical Italian hotel. Small, quaint and comfortable. We had booked two single rooms. We were dropping off a student for his semester abroad. The rooms while not fancy were clean and comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. The location is fantastic, close to the Duomo. Restaurants are plentiful. Outdoor cafes and shopping are also in... More

This property has a lot of charm. Dated interior and rooms but still charming. Very nice location (5 min from Duomo). The breakfast and lunch was excellent. The meeting rooms are gorgeous but the acoustics are not good - use microphones. The hotel restaurant has several employees (men) in street clothes loitering around - they need to be in uniform.... The hotel was very nice both in the lobby and our room. We especially enjoyed the rooftop bar where we'd go for a drink every evening to enjoy the panoramic view of the city. It's in a central location.

This hotel is well located for everything you want to do in Florence. From our room we looked straight at the dome of the Duomo. Everything was an easy walk. If you are going to another city by train, the station is 2 blocks away. Hotel lobby is very elegant. The rest is showing its age, but very nice and... More

The location of this hotel was close to the train station and all the shops. It had a beautiful lobby and it was nicely decorated for Christmas. The furniture in the room was quite old and the bed was a little uncomfortable because the springs were coming through the mattress. It didn't matter that much since we were only staying... More

We spent three nights at this hotel celebrating my husbands birthday. It was in a perfect location for everything we wanted to see and the entrance and lobby area is beautiful. The rooms are fine, quite dark, dated and very warm. As it was out of high season it was fairly quiet. Breakfast was very average but the coffee was... More

Stayed in this hotel mid October 2015, had read reviews so knew what to expect, beautiful hotel but was a bit tired in the rooms and corridors, but made up for it in the lobby and roof terrace, our room was quite small and did not have a view. Had a fantastic time due to the hotel being so central... More
