Upon check-in, reception staff was unreceptive to questions about accommodations and said to call our travel agent. Concierge could not be bothered with help with outgoing calls from room. Bartender never offered service or greeting. Walking distance to hotel from train station. Underground tunnel leaves you steps from hotel entrance. Overall, Hotel Baglioni is a grand old hotel with breathtaking... More

We spent a few days here and enjoyed the stay because of the large rooms and the great location. We walked from the train station and had no problem finding the hotel. From the hotel, we walked to all of the sights in Florence and had no issues at all. The hotel itself is an older hotel with the character... More

I was in Florence last month and had a lovely couple of days staying at the Hotel Baglioni--a grande dame of an old-fashioned hotel very well located and with a spectacular roof garden (where breakfast is served). At check-out time I could not find my new iPhone which I believed was taken from the room. The front desk manager (Antonio... More

The hotel was good located, walking distance from Station. But this is the only good thing. Most of the time, the lift was full and had long queues. We were at 4th floor and had to use stairs. On our first day, the hotel arranged a 200 people cocktail on the top at night, which was very very noisy with... More

Two thing I liked about this hotel: it's close to the train station and it's views from the rooftop terrace/restaurant. The breakfast selection was ok with not the best quality products. It is that same rooftop terrace/restaurant that did not let me sleep. I stayed on the 4th floor which is right underneath it. You hear EVERYTHING! The tables and... More

Superb hotel, great location. Lovely breakfast served in the roof terrace restaurant, with a great selection and very attentive staff. Centrally situated to walk the beautiful city of Florence. The panoramic views from the roof top terrace are outstanding, only wish we could have stayed longer. The ambience of the hotel has the grandiosity of a palace and well worth... More

This majestic building has beautiful rooms features timber carved ceilings enormous bed and elegant bathrooms. The dining room for breakfast is to die for with views all over Florence and a massive choices of food for any taste buds. The rooftop bar is a must a night to sip a few cocktails and take in the views

Florence is a very walkable city and this hotel is in a great location. It's near the main (Novella) train station. If it's raining and you need to get to or from the train station there is a pedestrian tunnel right outside the door that conveniently connects you. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The housekeeping was a little... More

Amazing location with an amazing roof terrace overlooking the Duomo and the city of Florence. First class service and food, don't miss the florence well known T-Bone steak and the risotto. And if you happen to have a room with balcony, enjoy the Tuscany wine watching the sunset over the city.
