This is a beautiful hotel. Our room on the 2nd floor had beautiful woodwork and high ceilings. The dining room has a stunning view of Florence. The location is outstanding. The only problem is the service. At breakfast in the dining room, you're on your own, and it can take a while for tables to get cleared when things are... More

Don't stay here!! We hated it. We were there for 2 nights. It was our second hotel during our vacations. 1. when we arrived, no one helped us bring our luggage up, in our other two hotels in Venice and Rome they did. 2. Everyone there is unwelcoming and sometimes even rude. We had dinner at their restaurant and they... More

Dear Madam, I have carefully read your comment and I am already investigating on what exaclty happened. However it is hard to me to understand because as much as I have no doubt that you are describing something really happened, I do know that our standards of service are far from the picture you gave and we can proudly say... we arrived late to the hotel and got checked in. The room they gave us was disappointing and not what we had expected. A talk with the front desk and they re-checked the reservation then apologised and gave us another room. this time the room was as we expected, great view, large room with a couch, great washroom. The only... More

Its a block from the train station and its easy to walk there. I had asked for a quiet & high room. I was disappointed when I was told it was on 1st floor but wonderfully surprised when I got to my room. I had the bonus of a little patio area off my room. As I love to sit... More

I liked this hotel. What it may lack in gimmicks, e.g. gym or pool, it compensates for in atmosphere. Traditionally decorated and comfortable with a stunning stair case and hall (if you find it). The views from the top restaurant and the terrace toward the dome are great, although I found the restaurant expensive for what it offered, same for... More

Hotel Baglioni is centrally located-10 minutes walk to Duomo but is also unappealingly opposite train station. This makes traffic noise constant and noisy. The hotel has a very faded grandeur and us in need of refurbishment as it looks very tired. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Our room was pleasant and bathroom a very good size with a good shower.... Sadly, this hotel is huge so our experience was one of impersonal indifference. The check in staff were rude and stuffy and could have done with smiling and a lesson in how to make guests feel more welcome. The room was large, but tired and dated, although the bathroom was lovely. Noise from I assume refurbishments began early the next... More

The hotel was steps from the train station and mercato centrale. It is a very beautiful hotel where we had a very romantic room that was very big. The roof terrace has the best view with private areas to hang out. There was music in the evening. The view of the Duomo was not to be missed. If I was... More

This gem is located literally a block away from the train station, making it a cinch to walk to with wheeled luggage. Check into your room, drop your luggage and keep on walking because all the wonderful sites are close by. Although we didn't have a view of the old city center from our room, it was clean, very spacious... More

Stayed here for my mothers 50th Birthday, the hotel needs total refurbishment, the room they reserved for me was a standard room - it had an awful smell of sewage- I asked to be moved to another room which they did straight away, my new room smelt slightly better. The rooms were big however very dated which is a shame... More
