We stayed here for two nights at the start of our two week Tuscan holiday and loved it! It is a traditional historic old hotel very nicely situated a three minute walk from the main railway station and just five minutes from the Duomo. We had a comfortably sized room on the third floor and whilst not much of a... More

We stayed here four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious for three and was clean and well appointed. The wifi worked well, and the breakfast was ample. The location was great, particularly if you are making Florence your base to see Tuscany, with easy access to the train station and tour buses. I can't think of... More

It is all about location in Florence. And this hotel is perfectly located. It's a touch old, might need a facelift soon, but it'll do nicely of you want to be where the action is. At first we got a really lousy room (103)... No windows and dark and dingy, but there was an excellent robot of a receptionist that... More

We spent five days at this lovely hotel in Florence, what a great location ,five mins to the city centre, five mins to the train station two mins to the open top bus tour. The staff are amazing, can't do enough for you,and the roof top restaurant is to die for,as is the food, the views from the fifth floor, where the restaurant... More

A lovely, very old hotel situated near the train station and the tourist center of Florence. We were intending to stay in this hotel for only one night but we enjoyed the hotel and its location so we extended our stay. The buffet breakfast was good but the same each morning. The hotel has a beautiful rooftop terrace that we... More

There is no other hotel as close or as nice as the Grand Hotel Baglioni. Located within a block of the train station, you're greeted by a porter at the door and ushered into Florence-style setting that extends from your room to the rooftop. Rooms are quite lovely and come with lots of storage and a chic bathroom. The rooftop... More

I attended a Conference at this hotel. My impression was of a grand hotel that is well used. Service and food was first class. The real highlight was the roof terrace off of the main restaurant that gives mazing panoramic views of the City and the Tuscany hills as a beautiful enticing backdrop.

When we checked in, we were assigned a nice room on the 4th floor. When we asked them to confirm that it was a nonsmoking room, as requested, we were reassigned to one of the smallest rooms on the 3rd floor with a view only of neighboring roofs. This room was very, very clean, and adequate, but there were four... More

Room is adequately sized and equipped. Property and room were clean and in good condition. Hotel is in an excellent location close to sites, restaurants, and just across the street from train station. I only have two complaints: the bed and pillows are as hard as a rock and the front desk is not well organized. On two occasions I... More
