I am writing in connection with my recent stay at the Hotel Ambasciatori, Florence, as well as restaurant in Rome. Unfortunately, I got a really bad experience as I felt racism. My friend and I went to the breakfast room on May 20th 2015. Upon entering the dining room, we were greeted in a less than welcoming manner and were... More

Conveniently situated next to the station! The served an excellent breakfast. The room, although a little small was very clean and tastefully decorated with beautiful, white linnen. The room was quiet and we felt safe. WOuld definitely recommend to anyone visiting Florence! Close to everything!

The hotel is very modern and clean and our room was impeccable but small. It was also very hot and the air con did not work but this was solved by leaving the windows open. It was nice to have opening windows and I like that Italy has this as a trend! We only had breakfast at the hotel which... More

The rooms are nice, big, clean and very comfortable. It is very close to the Florence SMN train station. Most of the site seeing locations are walking distance. The famous leather market is also 5 mins away.

I am not sure how this hotel receives a 4 star rating, it is barely a 3. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights in April 2015 and what a let down. The hotel is goood from a location perspective but that is where the plus points end. The room were were given was small, dated, but worst... More

This proved to be a great place to stay in Florence: right next to the Station, in easy walking distance of all the main attractions, with good rooms, a reasonable breakfast and a barman who was exceptional at his job. We had a great stay here - as with all things in Italy, not cheap!

This hotel is situated in a great location, literally just across the street from the train satiation. Even though it is so close there is literally no noise in the rooms. It's modern and clean with very stylish communal areas. I have just two criticisms. The breakfast is poor , the hot food is cold if there is any there... More

I've been in Florence 3 amazing days, with night rest at hotel Ambasciatori, nearly train station, very central position. Morning breakfast was fresh and Italian tasty, staff very helpful and kind. It's better to do one day trips in Toscana region, with vineyards good to visit, old cities from 13-14th centuries, continuously inhabited, which was amazing for us, We recommended... More

Luxurious accommodations - serviced oriented staff- quiet surroundings. On a GTA tour including Florence and this stop has been a welcome respite. Would come her again in a heart beat - great location! Near the train station, and walking distance to the Dome and Market.

We were on an escorted bus tour and the bus had no place to load or unload in front of the hotel except in the sidewalk. We thought that to be very dangerous. when returning later to the hotel by taxi, we found it to be even more dangerous . We informed our tour director of our concerns for safety.... More
