My husband and I consider ourselves well travelled and like to think we know a good hotel when we see one! The Ambasciatori was a pleasant surprise. It is very modern which is very much our style. The location is amazing, we chose this hotel due to the proximity to the train station. We didn't need a cab as there... More

Initially, I was disappointed because this hotel is in such a drab location. The hotel itself is trendy and stylish-looking, but it is located right across the street from a bus station where lots of gypsies congregate. Anytime you read anything about traveling to Italy there are all of these dire warnings about pick-pockets and the need to keep your... More

Fantastic location, in the centre of everything. Although right opposite the railway station the room was completely soundproof. Air con very welcome after a hot day. Plenty to eat at breakfast time. Reception area a bit functional and corporate, but room very comfortable. Wifi inconsistent.

We arrived around 16.30 and the check-in was very efficient and we were in our rooms in less than five minutes. The room we had was large and good quality and had a large balcony, unfortunately the view was of the bus station so not very appealing but being as Florence has so many fantastic views it didn’t bother us.... I was here with a tour group so did not have a room choice. My room was on the 1st floor (one floor up from the ground floor). The hotel is located directly across the street from the train station so my view was of people going in and out of the station. The windows were double thick so there... More

Our stay at Hotel Ambasciatori was pretty good. Clean and very convenient to the train station. They did upgrade us to a room in the newly renovated side of the building, which was nice. However, there are better locations to stay in Florence and websites like airbnb provide nicer, more spacious accommodations for less. However, this was perfect for what... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a tour. The interior of the hotel was very modern, but a little too dark for our liking. The elevators were very small - 4 people could squeeze inside without luggage. The rooms were of adequate size but our bathroom door did not open all the way, and there... More

Well spread Breakfast.20% discount on food in the restaurant. Happy hours in the evening at bar lounge. An Indian restaurant also nearby ( 10 minutes walk). All attractions... More

I'll start with the positives- this hotel was in an excellent location. It is literally opposite the train station which was very convenient and all attractions in Florence were within walking distance. Breakfast was included, staff were helpful and a 20% off voucher for the delicious fish restaurant next door was included. My main issue was that this hotel is... More
