The Ambasciatori is a centrally located hotel right next to the main railway station in Florence. It can be a little noisy and a little hot in the rooms however, the staff, in particular Sami the head barman, went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. He created some wonderful cocktails and fruit "sculptures" to rival "David" himself!... More

Although the hotel is very centrally located and is right opposite the main Railway terminal yet it lacks lot of things. Starting with the staff which is very arrognat and has problem understanding english. The breakfast which is included in the room tariff is not at all upto the mark.

Nice hotel, next to the station, correct staff, but at night the heating fires up, luckily the door to the balcony could be opened. Some flooding possible in the bathroom. Nice stay with a bit of italian imperfection.

My husband and I had reservations in the Hotel Club around the corner, but we were transferred to his hotel due to overbooking. Although I was really annoyed, the hotel was very nice and the room was great. The bathroom was probably as big as the room and the breakfast was fine. Since it's across the street from the train... Just returned from a short break at this hotel. The location, next to the main station, is great for the key sights. It is noisy though if you want to open your hotel window! fortunately the heating in our room worked well, oUr friends however overheated in their room because they could not adjust the temperature! The room was good,... More

My wife and I stayed here for a weekend trip to Florence. The hotel is located just opposite the train station and is within walking distance of all the major sights. The hotel was clean, staff friendly and very efficient. The bar is lovely and the range of drinks very good. There was always service with a smile. The hotel... More

I really wish I could say good things about this hotel, but our stay wasn't pleasant. The staff are not rude, but not particularly pleasant or welcoming. The rooms are clean, but have no kettle. The safe didn't work on arrival, had to be replaced. The air conditioning only has heat mode, so the rooms are hot until the heat... More

The hotel was fun and really well located. We got a room on the side of the train station, but honestly, were never bothered by it. The balcony provided us with the most amazing view which made us forget there even was a train nearby! The location was great! We were within walking distance from just about everything we wanted... The staff of this hotel is really arrogant. First the service is really really slow, they will not give you any help you ask for. For example, we asked them for a wine bottle opener. They refused and you have to go to the bar where the guy may ask for a charge to open a simple wine bottle. The... More

Dear Sir, Referring to your review, we really regret in reading about our Hotel in that way, A four star hotel reception usually has not corkscrew and so the staff suggested to go to the bar of the Hotel. For this kind of service we never ask any payment. When we assigned your room we respected the kind of room... More
