The location is excellent if you want to avoid the higher costs of staying right in Florence. It's about 15-20 minute ride into the City. As other travelers indicated, the shuttle into town is great. If you don't want to wait until later in the day to get the shuttle, you can take the #37 bus back to the hotel,... more

My husband and inlaws traveled to Tuscany during the summer of 2007. We chose this hotel based on the good reviews from Trip Advisor, free breakfast, and free shuttle into Florence. We learned quicky that only people who live in Florence, taxis, and special cars are allowed to drive into Florence, so the free shuttle was a definite perk. We... more

This was probably the best of the hotels on our tour. Our rooms had doors that opened out to a paved area in the garden. We sat out there in the afternoon and night with others on our tour and had drinks. It was a really nice atmosphere. The breakfasts were really good too. The best on our tour also.... more

Our family stayed at the hotel for a week and found the room, pool, grounds, breakfast and amenities generally very pleasant. Italian hotels/restaurant tend to be less clean, but this hotel seemed well kept. Located about 6 kilometers outside central Florence, you'll have to rely on the great shuttle service or the bus. The location has a limited amount of... more

This hotel turned out to be perfect for us. After very hot days in Florence and Siena, we returned to the hotel, just minutes from the city, and jumped in the pool every day. The grounds and pool are very nice and we found the staff to be accommodating. If the bar at the pool was closed, we asked and... more

We stayed at this hotel as part of a 43-person tour group. The check-in was very easily done. The rooms were fine for two adults but the air conditioning did not work to our satisfaction with temps in the high 80's (30-32 C). The pool closed at 7:00 (1900) which was too early. I went in anyway and no one... more

I stayed in this hotel on a week long trek through Italy and found it quite pleasant away from a conjested city like Florence. The grounds were quite nice but not overly manicured, hence you may get little animals running on roof top if you stayed in the annex like we did. The staff were quite helpful and told us... more

The best part of this hotel was the free shuttle and its driver - Domenico - who was the most obliging and informative person I have run into during our trip. The restaurant was incredibly overpriced, especially when there are nearby family-run trattorias with wonderful food. The breakfast was okay, the staff friendly, and the location a bit noisy (near... more

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel just 6 km outside Florence. A basic clean bedroom although the carpet looked as if it had some water damage previously. Our room was inside the main building[105] . The bathroom was very clean and the shower had a very strong water jet and there was always plenty of hot... more

Disappointing. Picture looks good but the rooms are outside the main building and resemble a "camp". The food was very poor with tinned fruit served at breakfast and a burnt piece of chicken and sausage on a stick served for a BBQ meal and called a "mixed grill".We waited for an hour and a half for this and this was... more
