I travelled with my family for a weekend to soak up the sights of beautiful Florence. Being 'just' outside the action attracted us to stay here, the location is perfect, a short stroll along the Arno river will take you to Ponte Vecchio bridge. You can see the St Maria Novella clearly from the terrace. I would say this is... More

We stayed here for three nights in September, we arrived on the Friday afternoon and our bags were taken starlight to our room. Our room was on the 3rd floor, 324, with a balcony overlooking the street (river side) the room was comfortable And clean, the decor was lovely, in green and yellow. We had a meal on the fabulous... There have been a range of reviews for this hotel so bear with me while I give some detail. Location: Its in a residential area so is relatively quite, if your looking for lots of night life and choice of restuarants its not great as far as the immedaite area is concerned. The hotel claims 10 minutes walk from old... More

Pros: Good location and the roof deck is a lovely feature. Very pleasant staff. Cons: Cheap (plastic) furniture Dated bathrooms Lousy air conditioning Worn furniture and paintwork Our first room was on the first floor. We were moved to the third floor after requesting a refurbished, brighter room. Same cheap, worn decor and dated bathroom but a brighter room. Not... More

Having read some previous reviews we were a bit nervous about this hotel and when we got there we found those comments to be justified. The location is about 1km from the main attractions, which wasn't a problem for us as we are happy to walk, but nothing about the hotel indicated that it is in any way four star.... More

Stayed two nights and enjoyed every minute. Shortly after check in, they acknowledged our 25th wedding anniversary with a complimentary bottle of Proseco - sweet - both the wine and the staff who are very attentive. Short walking distance to all the major sites so enjoy the day exploring and come back and relax on the awesome roofdeck - breathtaking... More

As we were only spending a night in Florence we really had not put a lot of time into finding a place to stay. After being pick pocketed a couple of days earlier, in Rome, the Hotel Kraft was such a nice surprise. Very clean, quiet, and modern hotel only a minute from the river to walk along in the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights on a self-tour of Tuscany. I picked this hotel especially for the rooftop pool as pools of any kind are fairly rare anywhere near the centre of Florence. We booked a Superior Double (404) and I would recommend this to anyone. We had a large room with a sofa, a mini-fridge,... More

Located a short (and pleasant) walk from the centre of Florence this hotel was perfect for what we wanted. During a tour of Italy we stayed here for 3 nights. Greeted by the friendly desk staff we were shown to our room which was lovely and very clean. The views from the roof bar of Florence are as good as... More

The hotel is in a nice place next to the River Arno. Easy to find after a day of touring the city. Great view of the surrounding area from the rooftop bar or the rooftop pool. The pool is not heated so it's a bit "chilly". The staff is very helpful; however, the rooms are small. Must open suitcase on... More
