More

Wonderful, knowledgable host. Speaks excellent English and gave some good local tips and dinner recommendations. Great location that is walking distance to all the sights and not too far from train. The room was quiet and clean and a good size. Hope to go back sometime!

The B&B is situated directly in the heart of Florence (less than 5 minutes from Ponte Vecchio, il Duomo, Palazzo Pitti, ...). The B&B is very clean and nicely furnished and it is easy to reach from the station Santa Maria Novella (only 10 minutes to walk). The landlady Laura is a very nice person who speaks perfectly English and... More

This B&B is perfect for staying in Florence. Great location, close to the Ponte Vechio, shopping, the Duomoand train station are short walks away. Laura is a fantastic host, so welcoming and helpful and a lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed staying with her. She got up when she heard us leaving around 7am to say goodbye! We had our own... Host, Laura, stayed up till 2am to greet, settle us from cancelled flight & late bus from Pisa dear woman! Up 20 steps but rewarded with beautiful smart trendy comfy room overlooking narrow cobbled street. Gracious high-ceilinged home,Shared designer bathroom was always free. Breakfast excellent coffee, croissants, cakes on tray from Laura; picco O iced coffee& cream afternoons too.

The B&B was fantastic. The location, the service, the ambience, the large room and attention to detail was wonderful. The hostess Laura and Paul were so friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Even though it is in the heart of the city it was very quiet. It was a very comfortable stay and we felt like it... More

Fantastic place to stay in Florence, not only because of its excellent location in the very heart of the city, but also because of the warm welcome of Laura and Paul, its host. We stayed here in July for 2 nights and were delighted with it. It is a few minutes from the main sights in Florence. Laura and Paul could not be more welcoming, a lovely big, cool, clean and comfortable room with a bathroom, lovely breakfast, helpful advice about where to eat - a booking was made for us the first... We stayed at the B&B Fiordaliso when we stopped in Florence. We hadn’t planned to stay much long, just a quick stop before going to Cinque Terre. We decided to walk from the train station which only took us 15 mins. We soon realized that one night wasn’t enough. Laura made us feel right at home and was attentive to... More

I recently stayed with Laura & Paul at this B&B in one of the best parts of Firenze. What warm and wonderful hosts they were. The room was large with everything I needed; a window open wide to let in a cool breeze. The bathroom (separate facility) was immaculate as was the entire establishment. I highly recommend this wonderful haven... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
