We did make a very good choice for our one-night stay in Florence when we decided to reserve a room at Le Camere dei Conti. It located 200 meters far from Santa Maria Novella Station, in a quiet street, on the second floor of an ancient building. Staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. We had a design,... Best location near the train station and you can go to all of the places by walking, very clean and the staff are friendly but the rooms are small but everything was perfect in that hotel.you have to ring the bell at night to open the buliding gate but that was okay and there is no elevator to the hotel... We stayed here for two nights on the last few days of our honeymoon. The rooms were very clean and modern. It is right around the block from the train station which was convenient for our early morning train and a short walk to the city center. This place is run by a wonderful husband and wife. They were very... More

The Owners, husband & wife, are amazing. They gave us a warm welcome and made us feel at home. The quality of interiors is superior, really elegant. The location is great, less than 500m from SM Novella Station, Firenze

Pretty much everything was great. The host was wonderful and friendly and gave us fantastic recommendations on things to do and places to eat. The room was well maintained, modern and clean. The location was convenient and close to everything. If you want a great base to explore Florence, you certainly will be happy here! A very very minor negative,... More

Modern simple room with good amenities. Hotel provided breakfast vouchers for use at a local restaurant, which was about 5 mins away on foot. The hotel was just opposite the Florence train station. The check-in lady was very friendly; the owner too was very helpful (even provided me with a breakfast basket since I had to check out very very... More

Located an 8-minute walk from the train station. Right at the entrance to the central area in the city of Florence. Quiet environment full of cafes and local shops. Large bed, large shower and luxurious. Breakfast is rich and delicious.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, quiet and up to date as far as the bathroom and air conditioning. The owner/operators were first-rate - very helpful and knowledgeable. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here one night and echo all the positive reviews. Our room was very comfortable and a great deal compared to similar Florence hotels. We loved the location close to the train station as Florence is a very walkable city and easy to navigate after dropping off our bags. Other reviewers mention the breakfast but we... More

Stayed here recently for 3 nights. Was attracted to its proximity to the train station - literally around the corner. Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. More than happy to make dinner reservations for us, prebook entrance tickets to attractions and provide directions around the city. A very short walk to the main attractions of Florence. breakfast... Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
