This was a lovely place to stay and very convenient to everything in Florence. The owner, Adrianna was very gracious and helpful. She had a wonderful assortment for breakfasts. Her home is furnished beautifully and is a very comfortable place to stay. The courtyard of the monastery is right outside her windows. I would definitely stay here again if I were... More

About a 10 minute walk from the train station, and close to everything else, this is a gem. Beautiful apartment in the Monastery, large rooms, furnished expensively, modern bathrooms. Adriana is a gracious host. I couldn't recommend a finer place in Florence. We even got to see a wedding in the adjacent church with reception in the courtyard.

This is a quiet, beautiful location full of character right in the heart of Florence. The owner is friendly and helpful. As a former monastery converted into a hotel, this setting has a delightful ambiance seeped in history. Highly recommended.

Fantastic B&B, loaded in history and surrounded by excellent restaurants. Ponte Vecchio 8 minutes walk away. Parking in public car par near-by. Very friendly hostess who speaks perfect English. I will always stay here when coming to Florence.

We stayed two nights with Adriana. We drove to town and Adriana directed us to a car park outside the ZTL and only 5 minute walk. We booked both rooms with the two twin room perfect for our 7 and 9 year old and the king for parents. The rooms were very spacious, wifi was good, and rooms stocked with... More

We stayed at Piazza del Carmine for 3 nights, occupying both rooms as were are a family of 4 (including kids ages 14 and 12). This was the perfect set-up as one room had a queen/king bed and one room had two twins. Each room had its own attached bathroom with high quality materials. The B&B is furnished with antiques... Piazza del Carmine turned out to be the perfect location for our recent trip. We planned to spend a few days in Florence before taking the train down to Chiusi and driving to our villa rental. We also planned to have a couple of extra days back in Florence at the end of our trip. This place became our Florence... More

What a great location in Florence and the accommodations were fantastic (best of all for the whole Italy trip). Piazza del Carmine was beautiful and Adriana was most hospitable. The continental breakfast was great and inlcuded warm pastries, cereals, yogurt, toast and fresh fruit both mornings. Adrianna was kind enough to match our schedule and had everything prepared ahead of... More

We stayed a week at Piazza del Carmine, with Adriana and Berta (her deal old friend and companian dog). Our rooms were lovely and big, spotlessly clean and the bathrooms were very well appointed, with all modern conveniences. The only downside was the unavailability of tea and coffee making facilities when we can in after a long day sightseeing in... More

We were 2 American couples and I was looking for a certain price point for 3 nights stay. I feel like we hit the jack pot with this charming B&B in a very happening and trendy part of Florence NOT in the tourist district but just a short walk from. Everything about this 2bdrm, 2 bath place was very comfortable... More
