Overall, I felt like everything was about the Villa was a work in progress when I was there. The entire second floor was closed off (not sure if this is a private area or is being renovated) and the garden was partially closed off and most of the grass was dried and brown. As I was really looking forward to... More

We chose Villa Nardi because we wanted to be on the hills overlooking Florence, and we were on a tight budget. We couldn’t afford the fancy hotels overlooking the city (such as the expansive Villa Cora, which is across the street from Villa Nardi). Villa Nardi enabled us to get what we wanted within our budget, and we were very... More

Where do I start? We loved everything, the neighborhood, the house, the garden, the views over Florence from our room's windows, the stars at night, the bathroom with the double shower with a bench (great idea when one has been walking for hours), the breakfast in the cozy kitchen, the kind and helpful staff. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in... More

We think this is a wonderful hotel, we loved everything in there!! The rooms are comfortable and the people who work there are very nice!! The breakfast in a beautiful kitchen was wonderful!! I think one of the greatest things of the hotel, is the location. If you like to stay very close, but not in the middle of everything,... More

Yes the Villa is in a lovely setting a short walk from the Porta Romana but if your room is street side its a bit of a drag strip. It's very formal and clean, no rugs or sofas or armchairs in the room and no iron. A "deluxe", luxury accomodation it was not. All the paintings on the wall are... More

This was the highlight of my trip to Florence. Comfortable rooms with plenty of space plus great views of the beautiful grounds. I'm definitely going back here for my next trip. It was a lovely change from the hustle and bustle in Rome and the villa is a close bus ride to the centre attractions of Florence. The staff were... More

If you're looking for a place to stay in Florence in a really nice residential area, far from the noise of the city centre, this place is a good choice. Located on a hill in a very swish suburb, in the midst of some of the most expensive property in the city, it is a very pleasant place to stay.... More

This was a really perfects stay in Florence. In a beautiful building, very well kept with a lot of the original furnishings and paintings. The bathroom was extremely clean, very modern and stylish. The villa is surrounded by a big park of about 2 ha, one of the largest privately owned gardens in Florence, with a special atmosphere. The villa... More

I had read the reviews on here prior to travelling and loved the look of this place so decided to book. My brother and I were travelling through Europe and I booked a twin room. The old lady who is the owner speaks very little english. She took us to our room and someone else was in it. So she... More

We are sorry that this guest was not able to fully appreciate the nature of our structure, as fully described in our website, it is a historical residence directly managed by the Nardi's family that provides all its rooms to give guests the opportunity to live in a context of elitism and privacy and originality unique! What a beautiful stately home in which to stay for a day in Florence. I am sorry this was a transition stay and did not give us the opportunity to enjoy it to its full potential. Big well appointed room, quiet, very comfortable and well serviced. Surrounded by well maintained gardens to wander and close to public transport which was... More
