My daughter and I were lucky to find this place! Laura has done a wonderful job of transforming her family home into a cozy B&B! Our room was spacious and clean and breakfast was great with a lot to choose from. We caught the bus into town from right across the street. Laura is very sweet and personable...if we ever... More

got the feeling of staying in a real Florentine house, big room (unusual for Italian hotels!), breakfast good enough, clean place, very helpful staff, at long walking distance from the historical center but there is a bus stop very close and bus is cheap and frequent.

I stayed here with my wife in May, if you are looking for a well priced B+B in Florence then look no further. Our room was spacious and comfortable everything was clean and tidy and at breakfast there was a fair amount of choice. We enjoyed our 25 min walks to the center, this way you get to see different... We haven't spent a lot of time inside but Laura is an awesome host and has a neat app! Confy beds, everything really clean; maybe a breakfast should be more 'rich' (especially proteins) since for most people is an important meal of the day. Keep the good job, Laura!

La colazione italiana è generalmente composta da prodotti dolci, comunque quando ci sono ospiti stranieri propongo anche cibi salati. More

I'd recommend this hotel if you need a cheap place to stay, especially if you have a car and need parking. There's paid parking nearby or free parking on a close side street. The B&B was about 25-30 mins walking from the main part of Florence. Checkin was easy. Our room was big and clean with A/C. It's an older... More

Volevo ricordare che la colaizione italiana è prevalentemente a base di dolci anche se io inserisco anche uova, affettati, pizza, frutta ed altro. Le paste sono fresche acquistate al forno I wanted to remember that the Italian colaizione is based sweet even if I insert also salty food such as eggs, vegetable, pizza, fruit. The pastries are fresh and I... More

I cant recommend highly enough. It was great value, everyone was incredibly polite, the rooms were large and clean, it was a short walk into town (there's a nice pizzeria about 2 mins walk away) and they were happy to split a double bed into a twin room at our request. It was, in short, fantastic.

My husband and I had a pleasant 2-night stay in B&B A Casa di Virgilio in Florence. The B&B was an old Italian family home that converted into rooms with breakfast. It is conveniently located, away from the hustle and bustle of the busy train station. From the train station, you can take bus 14 to get to the B&B... More

In my opinion it is very important for a foreign tourist to see the normal daily life of the country you visit, the district Rifredi where you leased the B & B is near to the center but has all the features of the Italian neighborhood with supermarkets, restaurants, furnace under the house, the fresh pasta shop (there is a... We stayed here for 3 nights and loved it! The owner is so sweet and made us feel so comfortable. Everything was super clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious! Its about a ten minute bus ride to the train station and from there you can walk to everything. Stay here!

We spent 5 wonderful nights, and days!, with Laura in the beautifully updated home of her beloved Grandparents. Our room was spacious with a view of a small park. Our ensuite bathroom was skillfully tiled and the shower was big enough for 2, very unusual in Europe. Our breakfasts were like smorgasbords, including various fruits, juices, cereal, cookies, croissants, cheese, occasional meat... More
