A decent budget hotel in a very good location. It is a few minutes walk from the main train station in Florence (Santa Maria N). It is on third floor of a corner building so lots of steps to climb as the lift was not working when we were there! Staff were helpful and helped us take the luggage upstairs,... More

I selected this hotel for our 5 nights stay in Florence based on our budget, proximity to SMN station (we were going to do 2 day trips plus coming from Rome & going to Venice by train). It is 5 minutes walk from station. The staff is friendly, helpful and available 24 hours. The rooms are adequate. The breakfast, basic but... More

Hotel Fiorita is a nice and convenient little hotel that's very near the Firenze Santa Maria Novella Stazione. A cute little antique lift serves the few small hotels occupying the same building, which is good news for people with heavy luggage. The staff are friendly and nice, always smiley with a friendly greeting when guests pass by the reception. On... More

I stayed here for two nights, it was difficult to find in the start because there is 2-3 different hotels in the same building but we found out that this happens to many buildings in Florence. The man at the reception was so friendly and helpful, everyone that works in this hotel were all really nice. We had a nice... More

We stayed for a night and was quite happy w the room, although the furnishing were much older than we had originally expected (fr the photos we saw at the hotel website when we did our booking). The room was relatively spacious and very clean. It actually welcomed us with v nice fragrance. The bedsheet, towels, floors and bathrooms were... More

I found this hotel a bit difficult to rate, as in some ways it is better than average for the price, but in some respects is a bit problematic. We chose this hotel because we expected to be taking the train a lot for day trips, and the train station is an easy 5 minutes walk away. The immediate area,... More

I stayed for three nights in this lovely hotel and would definitely go back. The hotel is clean, quiet and excellently located just around the corner from the main railway station. Spent 3 nights here (room 12, single room). It's very handily located next to the train station. My room which had a shower and sink in it (WC across the hall) was pretty much what I was expecting, clean, comfy and enough space to move about. Decent breakfast upstairs in a sun room. Friendly and helpful staff. Would happily stay... More
