When i saw the hotel i was shocked.The building is rather old so the rooms(i thought i was in a hotel somewhere in the 70s).Everything was old and rusty(clean though).However the stuf was friendly enough and the dinner good enough.The breakfast was poor for a 4 star hotel(really???).Definately not value for money. more

Stayed here as part of a tour by Carrani September 08. Have to agree with Deeny D the meals were appalling considering we were sold the tour as a four star option. The breakfast was minimal with no cooked foods. The hotel itself was good but a little out of the way. more

We were with Carrani tours, lovely rooms but a very poor food dining. Dinner disgusting(the main course each night was ineditable), breakfast a limited selection more

Most excellent lodging experience! Large flat screen TV in room. Spacious bathroom by European standards with a great shower. Comfortable beds for a good night's sleep after a busy site-seeing day. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy to catch bus to downtown Florence. A "must stay" hotel while in Florence! more
