Stayed here for two magical nights in Florence. We traveled by train from Pisa. Take a taxi from station, it's not that far but with bags and people in streets can be difficult to find. This hotel is really close to all the attractions in Florence. The concierge was friendly and informative. He recommended a great get away in Florence where we drove out to for the day. Hotel Balestri is a short cab ride from the train station. It is conveniently situated alongside the Arno river. Rooms are quiet, clean, and moderately sized. Bathrooms, however, need an update. Most of the staff were quite knowledgeable - staff were able to recommend some good restaurants in the area. Overall, an average experience at an average hotel. more
