A good hotel in a superb location - less than 10 min walk from rail station. A 2 minute walk to the square which is brimming with activity and sidewalk cafes and close to everything. A friendly l Irish pub - The Fiddler's Elbow nearby. The room was reasonably large, well appointed and spotless. The bed was comfortable and the... More

An excellent 3 star hotel. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was a good buffet with cereal, bread rolls, ham, cheese, yoghurt, etc. Also a limited hot food option if you want it. Great location about 10 minutes walk from the main train station and the main bus station (airport bus). Also about 10 minutes walk from the... More

In Florence, location and a clean room solves most of your needs. As an "unaccompanied" woman traveler, I want a 24 hour desk and a clean bed and bath. This comfortable family run hotel eliminated any need for taxis, and actually had real eggs, meat and cheese for breakfast choices. The single room is snug, and noisy with the windows open... More

This little family run hotel was just ideal for us. The hotel staff could not have been more friendly and helpful with directions, local places to eat cheaply and the best places to purchase Italian leather shoes! It is a 3/4 star boutique hotel- small rooms with high ceilings( and yes we had the pillar in the middle of the... More

Perfect location, less than a five minute walk from the bus station ( there is an airport shuttle bus that runs every half hour from Florence airport and is great value at 10 euros for a return ticket) and in the other direction the river Arno. Staff helpful and friendly. I can't understand why previous entries say the breakfast is... More

This hotel have great location. Few minutes walk to shopping area and same to river and bridges. Obviously there is older and just renovated rooms and we got older. For the price we payed it was ok. But of course it would be nicer to be in new room. Breakfast was ok, nothing special but alright. Staff was nice and... More

Depressing colors and furniture.there is no lift on the ground floor,,you have to drag your bags all the way by stairs to reach the lift in the 1st floor and don't try asking for help as... More

The biggest plus of the hotel is the location. It is a very short walk from the historic center and the additional advantage is the cheap price. Hotel staff nice and helping, very good breakfast but the hotel needs serious renovation, the street is very noisy and you can not open windows.

On arrival were informed that our booking for a superior room from 7 months ago was not available. We were moved to a sub standard hotel across the street. Room was no bigger than a box and after much complaining for the amount we had paid were allowed to have a double bed in a room no bigger than the... More
