I can not agree with the comment regarding a flawed establishment. If you are not afraid of walking, yes the hotel is walking distance from the station, and also walking distance from all the sights..if you want to experience Florence ...go by foot..Simone and the rest of the staff were so friendly , helpfull and we even shared some jokes... City hotel, quiet, no view except onto another window. Reasonable shower and nice and clean. Excellent location, nice staff, price very attractive for being inside city centre, really inside Florence downtown. Nice and spatious room for the rated cost, beautiful flat TV and very convenient Internet access. Breakfast Was large with a fantastic Italian cappuccino and several salted and sweet assortments. Near to the city center on the second floor of an old building. Rooms are a bit out of date but clean and QUIET witch is very important when you are on a city trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful and a great breakfast when whe compare to other more expensive hotels whe stayed in. More

It’s not so bad as I read in some of the previous comments- we had a good size comfortable room- very quiet with a window to the internal yard, bathroom also with a decent size.
