What a lovely little place. Our room was spacious and cosy, the staff were friendly, lovely breakfast included, and was nearby to the main attractions of Florence. Unfortunately we only had one night in Florence but would have loved to have stayed longer. more

We found this Hotel thru AAA and were very pleased with this choice. It was easy to find from the Train Station, although it is a bit of a walk with your luggage but not bad with wheels. The elevator was charming but we only used it to get our bags up and down as the Hotel is on the... more

This was an excellent hotel in a great location. The hostes and host were most accommodating. The room was large and comfy with a large bathroom. Recommodations for restaurants was great. They held our bags after check out until we were ready to leave. Francesca (?) was the best hostess. Loved this place and would recommend it to others! Ciao! more

Literally worst hotel I have ever been to. Location was acceptable in that it was close to the river, however even before entering the hotel, we noticed how "sketchy" the street seemed. We should have gone with our gut and changed hotels. The Goldoni is fairly clean, and rooms are small, but that's honestly the only "ok" things I can... more

I wasn't sure what to expect since I haven't stayed at a 3 star hotel for a long time. This was the only 3 star we stayed at during our trip and the fact was very pronounced. In general what mattered most was there. Its in a great location, 5 - 10 min walking distance from the station and 5... more

Stayed in this hotel with my boyfriend in mid Sept. Got a great price on expedia..Located in a good location, close to the train station and within easy walking distance to the center of the city. The hotel is small..Located in a somewhat run down building on the second floor. You go in a small old school elevator to get... more

Our second weekend break to Italy. Rome was our first taste and Florence our second. And taste is the operative word. Simple food, cooked and presented beautifully. Everywhere we ate was excellent but I have to single out Trattoria Nerone on Via Faenza. The best pizza ever!! I must admit that we thought we were eating (alfresco) at a very... more

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Goldoni for 2 nights in May and had a wonderful experience. First the Hotel Goldoni is an easy walk from the train station and also close to all of the major sites. When we arrived at the hotel the staff was welcoming and helpful. The room was large and clean with a small... more

The hotel is under new management as of May and they could not be more friendly and helpful. They assisted us in everything from dinner and museum reservations, train schedles and travel tips on other cities to see. They also make a mean cappucino in the morning. The rooms are fairly large for European standards but the bathrooms are your... more
