This hotel has a beautiful location but needs a lot of work to charge the prices it does. I booked through venere.com and was charged in excess of the booked rate ("We increased our rates, you see"). The pool area was dirty and the pool bar expensive. Kitchen ovens broke down but no one told the guests. Some waited nearly... more

Just a really quick note to say what a charming and quaint stay we have just had at the hotel. The staff are wonderful, fluent in English, French and German from what I heard. The hotel has lots of features and is exactly what you would expect. IGNORE the other negative comments about long walk for breakfast - it is... more

We took the bus from the main train station to the hotel. The hotel is located in the midst of a lovely olive grove, which is a wonderful setting, but that means the bus stop is not close to the hotel. If you have cumbersome luggage, be prepared for a tedious 10 min. hike. Aside from the jaunt from the... more

This was my second trip to the Tuscan hills and I was not disappointed by this hotel. On arrival, the staff were friendly and helpful, proof that like most Europeans, the Italians respond well at any attempt to converse in their own language. The proprietor showed us a map of the estate and where to catch convenient buses into Florence.... more

Our couple (age > 50) stayed for a week in a secondary residence of the domain. We could so benefit from a terrific view of the historical center of Florence, every moment we went onto our terrace. We were in a quiet place although close enough to the city (about 15 minutes driving) so as to perform a lot of... more

Loved this pictureque hotel up on the hillside outside of Florence! The estate is very beautiful; walking trails; pool; AMAZING view over Florence. We didn't have any idea it was so far out of town so be ready for the 20 min. bus ride into the city center. The walk to the bus stop took about 5 min though and... more

We had an exceptional holiday at the Villa Rondini just outside Florence. Yes, you do need to do a lot of walking if you are not staying in the villa itself, to and from breakfast, and to the bus stop. However, this was all made clear before we travelled and the location more than made up for the walking! Set... more

We spent a week at the Villa Le Rondini and had the feeling that this could be a fantastic hotel, given an awful lot of hard work! The bedroom was clean with a nice view over the Tuscan countryside and we can't blame the hotel for the Tuscan mosquitoes, which were pretty active. The air conditioning (essential in August) was... more

This hotel was molto bello!! Io enjoyed it molto. I had a very enjoyable experience and found it to be very divertenti! The gelato alla hotel was very scrupcious. It made me want to watch the Willy Wonka movie. I went on this trip with my dear firend JonMario a.k.a. Mars, (whom purchased nuovo kicks while comprarying alle hotel) and... more
