Beds were hard as a rock. Shower is tiny super tiny. Rooms are old so old. Wifi is bad bad bad. Breakfast is super super sad and if you come in after a group good luck getting more food from the waiters. If you're in Florence and get a super amazing rate, then go ahead, because the city is amazing.... More

Lovely hotel, slightly out of town (but the buses were pretty good), with quite a bit of charm and a lovely swimming pool. Big lovely rooms, nice bathrooms, decent breakfast, great service. The spritz at the bar were pretty good too!

I'd read a lot of bad reviews of this hotel and arrived with some trepidation, but was glad to find that the room was large and clean, and my only niggle with the bathroom was the decision to put the toilet right in front of the window! Our room was at the end of the corridor so with the exception... More

Nice hotel with nice rooms, good service and breakfast. A bit far away from the centre but easy to get by bus in 20 min or 15 min taxi. A bit loud in rooms, u can hear every word from the corridor. But thats pretty muhc the only big negative.

I travel a lot, and very rarely do I find myself in a place where I can say that i feel at home. These guys made me feel welcome from the very start. I spent 6 nights and they met my every need. Nice little single room with everything i could need. A comfortable bed, TV, wardrobe and a very... More

My husband and I stayed here for a week. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and good quality. We travelled into the centre of Florence by No 17 bus and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of staying out of the city centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly... More

Overall really bad experience with the hotel but the service is exceptional. - Water pressure is non-existence - there are days with no hot water - Wifi signal is really weak - Walls are very thin and I could hear my neighbors bathing - very noisy estate as they host alot tour groups everyday - the hotel location is very... This hotel used to be a convent. The hotel conversion turned out great. Rooms with solid walls help for sound isolation. Nice american brekfast. It definitely desrves its 4 stars, although one knows Best Western is more at 3-star level.

The hotel is an old monastery and is located at the base of a large hill. It is somewhat east and north from the center of town. It is not walking distance to the Duomo or Ufizzi. The rooms are large and very clean. There is a breakfast area down stairs and the food is typical of most breakfasts with... More

The Hotel Villa Gabriele is in a suburb of Florence. It is a converted 19th century monastery. A little bit austere but it has all the required comforts. The rooms are light and airy with air-con, tiled floors, modern en-suites and firm beds. As in so many hotels the corridors can be noisy at various times of the day. There... More
