I found this hotel earlier in the year when looking for a place for the majority of my wedding guests coming over to stay at during their visit to our wedding. From the minute I walked into reception they were very helpful and generous with what they were offering. We stayed the night and were really looked after in terms... More

We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. Good service and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was very sufficient. I need gluten free meals, and they were very accommodating. We enjoyed being away from the noisy city center. The bus stopped a few blocks away, and was very adequate. We would certainly recommend this hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights as part of a tour, the room was spacious and very clean and the location was quiet as we were at the rear of the hotel. The hotel caters mainly for touring groups of which we were part of one so I can sympathize with individuals who stay there, breakfast is a chaotic experience as each... More

We stayed with a large tour group. There were multiple groups there, the breakfast was buffet and in a very small area. I felt sorry for those not with a group as there was no where for them to sit! The hotel reserved tables for our group of 70ish, they reserved 7 tables, not enough. So our group went to... More

A rather disappointing stay in beautiful Italy. The food was average at best, not as good as we expected or were led to believe. If you were lucky enough to get down to breakfast when there was a choice left or the staff could be bothered the breakfast was adequate! Dinner was okay but rather tasteless, the staff didn't appear... More

We had a fantastic tour of Tuscany and to round off the holiday stay in a good hotel in Florence. On arriving we were greeted well and then things started to wrong. The girl on Reception advised us that there was a problem with our room and that we could not stay. On enquiring the story kept changing from something... More

Overall the experience was good, bus station is 1 min waking but they charge you the parking 10€ per day and this is very unfair. The breakfast is not aligned with the 4 stars level, the pool is little and lack of maintenance (furthermore it closes at 7pm and no one watch over guests) Garden lacks of maintenance as well... Hotel - Gabriele D’ Annunzio. This is a lovely hotel and well situated on the outskirts of this very crowded city. Having a garden and swimming pool is a must if you intend to be visiting the sites of Florence for a week or more. The rooms are spacious enough and kept spotless, in fact the whole complex seems well... More

Booked through a travel website at a great price. Basic hotel but couldn't grumble with the price. It is situated a few miles outside the centre of Florence but there are regular buses that get you there quickly. Nice, little pool. Breakfast choice is good but you'll be disappointed if you're looking for a full breakfast. Very helpful staff. Rooms... More
