best western at its best! we loved this hotel!! the staff were very helpful and trying to help wherever they can. the rooms were clean, beautiful and good showers. shame no bath tub. breakfast was okay (7-10am). there are few nice restaurants nearby and bus 10 / 17 takes you downtown. parking facilities are good although a bit steeply priced... This hotel is nothing fancy, but clean and nice for the price. I enjoyed the gated entry courtyard with sculptures scattered around and the old Florence feel. A little outside the city, but I would certainly consider it for any future trips to Florence. More

I am not one to whinge but this hotel was terrible. It was cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. Here are a few points we found unsatisfactory: -the bed was rock hard & creaky -breakfast was really basic & not at all appealing -location was not ideal - taxi strike was on & they made us... More

I'm very critical so even though we had a great stay I want to mention some of the minor issues we experienced before talking about my top 10 list. First there was the unexpected city tax that we had to pay at checkout. Though not the hotel's fault (it's the law) it gave me a bit of a sour taste... More

More

We were there for 2 nights in august 2010 and it was a nice and quiet , not too far from city center and we had parking for our car. We had a spaceous and clean room with a very modern bathroom and views out over hills and an olive grove.. Breakfast was simple but plenty. The reception staff were... More

Everything about the hotel was ok. The room was small and clean. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The hot water ran out if we didn't shower either straight away in the morning or after 11. The staff were helpful when asked questions. The breakfast was nice. There were eggs which is the only breakfast protein we've had in... More

We flow into Pisa and caught the train into Firenze SMN station - a painless and not to costly experience. We travelled to the hotel, which is situated on the outskirts of town, by taxi (16 Euros). The reception staff were polite and efficient. We had a spaceous and clean double room at the rear of the hotel with views... More

The best thing was the privacy of the pool and the greenery that surrounded it. The hotel really needs to upgrade their patio furniture. It was a white plastic kind and many guests were laying on towls while we were there. The location wasn't bad from the center of Florence or the town of Fiesole. There was a lovely restaurant... Very helpful receptionists led us to 2 outstanding restaurants. Bus into town OK and reasonably priced as hotel in suburbs. Let down by small dirty and cold pool. Poor breakfast in inadequate sized room - get up early to get a table! More
