Friendly, clean and quiet tree lined street, true Tuscan atmosphere. Central to bus routes. We loved the handy parking available at the rear of the hotel. Internet available without having to go down to reception. Restaurant food was varied and very tasty. Breakfast was more than edequate and the breakfast room clean and nice outlook. Hotel closed for dinner on... More

I like this hotel. It is clean and on a quiet location and has complimentary internet. The staff are helpful and even gave us a bottle of champagne to celebrate my birthday which was a month away! There were more variety of food food for breakfast. I have no complaints about the hotel but since we did a lot of... More

Nothing too much trouble, staff all friendly and approachable. Rooms in the old house of course have the advantage of period features. Slight demerit is that the restaurant lacks atmosphere and the food is average. Breakfast choice is limited and surprisingly the coffee poor. Restaurant closed on Sunday night The hotel is only 15-20 minutes walk to the Ponte Vecchio... More

We were booked into this hotel after the hotel we had booked and paid for decided to close its doors. With only a few days in Florence we were willing to take a chance; it proved to be a good decision. The location is a bit of a distance from downtown and all the major sites but the bus runs... More

The room is so quite and romantic!! To town, just walking distance, we spent about 20 mins walking from the hotel, there are many attactions and shops you can see and visit on the way to city centre. Most importantly, the hotel is located in one of the best areas in Florence I reckon!! it's surrounded by green! Lot of... More

I originally selected to stay at the Villa Carlotta Hotel because it had free parking (my husband and I rented a car for a few days) but we became fond of it for its location. At first blush it seems a little remote from most of the Florence attractions but it's actually not more than a 15-20 minute walk from... More

Villa Carlotta is about 20 mins walk to the museum area, the Giardino di Boboli are very close and so is the Palazzo Pitti. The area seems to have been a fancy neighborhood with large beautiful homes, this one redesigned into a wonderful hotel. The service was great, people at the front were very helpful. Breakfast was included in our... More

We had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Carlotta for 4 days. The hotel is located in a quiet area of Florence. We arrived by train and it was a 15 Eu taxi ride to the hotel. Most days we walked into the center of Florence. As others have said it is about a 15-20 minute walk to most... More
