Everything about the Cellai was splendid and easy. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the room very comfortable, the daily breakfasts fabulous and the atmosphere 'charming' in a very genuine way. I took advantage of their free bike to ride around the city -- what a surprise -- and the little things such as a small complimentary bottle of wine and... More

We enjoyed our stay at Cellai. Nice, bright originally decorated bedroom. Clean with a very good bedding. Staff was very kind and helpful. They took good care of all our restaurants and museums reservations and gave us great ideas for shopping. Lovely public areas and delicious breakfast made our holiday in Florence Perfect. We had room 303 that was recently... More

I totally agree with the many rave reviews. We liked this hotel's size and it's location. The breakfasts were very good, with a wide selection, including plenty of fruit and other healthy items..Even the scrambled eggs were good.We loved the many sitting rooms filled with art books ,guidebooks ,and quite a few novels in English. Our favorite spot was the terrace .I really shouldn't... We stayed here between the 15th -18th March. The hotel was in easy walk from the Santa maria Novella train station and very easy to find. You are just on the outskirts of the old town but within a 3 minute walk to the center and all its attractions. The Hotel itself is totally unique in its charm and quirkiness.... More

The hotel is clean, comfortable, unique, hospitable and conveniently located within Historic Firenze. This place has sort of historic B&B vibe as opposed to a contemporary hotel. The breakfast is awesome, especially if your used to hotel breakfast in The States! Piazza San Marco is close by which is closest to the museum that has the original David. The highlight... More

Wonderful boutique hotel within easy walking distance to many Florence tourist sites, seems small at first, then you follow a warren of hallways to multiple floors and rooms, all uniquely decorated with antiques, books, quirky paintings and prints, etc. Varied breakfast with an assortment or meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, breads and croissants, eggs, baked dishes. Don't miss the gelato shop... More

I have returned to this hotel again. The first time I stayed here was for a business trip and now I have just stopped for 3 nights for leisure. I must say that this is a great place - but let's keep it as a secret! The staff are fantastic, so friendly and highly professional, the rooms are fabulous. You... More

I am a repeater guest of the hotel Cellai, and every time i go to Florence I stay in this beautifully decorated and centrally located hotel. The staff and management are both incredibly helpful and full of ideas if you ask any of them what to do in Florence. The room I had was a large family room with 2... More

We traveled to Firenze for 12 days, and stayed the entire time at Hotel Cellai. The staff was friendly and accommodating! The many rooms to hang out in downstairs were a big plus, and breakfast was great. I especially loved the decor!! The rooftop patio is magnificent! The location was great--only a ten minute walk to The Duomo and the... More

I recently stayed in this hotel and was very pleased with it. Ideally situated, tons of museums and restaurants within walking distance. Nice continental breakfast with lots of variety. The room was percfectly fine as well, even though the second time we were there we did not have a bath in the room, only a standing shower. The main downside... More
