We were so disappointed in this hotel- we were expecting a cute boutique hotel, but instead got a room that felt small and dirty. The towels had a smell to them that I could not get over and the bathtub had mold growing in it. We were so glad to be leaving. The staff was not very friendly, snapping at... more

my husband and I had a very lovely stay at Hotel Cellai in Florence. Our room was very nice and the bathroom was brand new. The Hotel decoration is very special. They display many artworks and original antiques. People are friendly and breakfast is rich and relaxing. more

We were approached by a man claiming to be the owner of this hotel at the Train Station. As we were desperate to find a hotel we agreed to book with him. Most of the hotels in our price range were taken. He quoted 100 euros per night for one night only. He walked us to the taxi and directed... more

We stayed for 4 days in mid May. Florence is a walking city, so despite the appearance of being away from the action, it wasn't at all. We started off in what I think was an overflow room which wasn't up to the standards set in the travel guides. The second day we were moved to a much more interesting... more

Conveniently located within 15 minute walk of the train station, Central Market and the Duomo. Very pleasant hotel with a great staff. They were most helpful with suggestions in locating good restaurants as well as directions to all of the sites we wished to see in Florence. We loved the rooftop lounge witht the Honor Bar. Very relaxing way to end... more

The Hotel Cellai is a lovely European Style hotel in an excellent location. I absolutely adore the front desk staff. There is someone at the desk 24 hours a day for questions and any help you might need. The rooftop garden is a small oasis of green in the midst of the city, and a wonderful place to rest at... more

Loved this hotel. It's about a 10 minute walk to the train station, 5 minute walk from the closest markets and is perfectly situated next to a convenient store and across the street from a clothes cleaning facility (which we didn't use, but it was there). The hotel is beautiful. When we walked in, we saw the gorgeous sitting area,... more

We enjoyed our stay ! We spent 3 days in Florence at Cellai Boutique Hotel. It was really great. Nice and helpful people and very nice romantic elegant design. We could also use hotel bycicles (great idea !). The terrace is sunny and peaceful and there are lots of art details allover the hotel. The girls at front desk suggested... more

I was very disappointed with Hotel Cellai. It looks very chic and stylish on the website but when you get there you soon discover that it's haggard, worn, and in need of refurbishment. We booked a vanity room, the least expensive, but we quickly upgraded to a deluxe room because it was intolerable. Everything, the walls, the dirty, worn carpet... more

We spent 3 nights at Cellai Hotel during Easter Holidays. We really had a great time. The decoration of this hotel is unique and we suggest to visit the entire hotel because there are many amazing pieces of art displayed throughout the hotel; in the corridors, and cozy sitting rooms. Breakfast was also very good and Great Cappuccino!!! The staff... more
