This place is great for your stay in Florence. The lobby is decorated very chic and the vibe you get is simply amazing. You are greeted with fresh juice, water and some detox beverages. We got room 412 and it was simply amazing. Located on the top floor with views to Il Duomo, this made our stay even more wonderful.... More

Nice atmosphere. Very comfortable room. There is a really nice terrace on the top floor and we enjoyed that as a open air lounge! The staff was always nice and helpful both at front desk and the breakfast. The breakfast was great! The wi-fi internet was free and worked well both in my room and in the lounge.

Very very service minded and friendly staff. Helped not only on parking but also on an emergency repair of our car, allowing us to enjoy our stay and focus on Florence's attractions. Good location, quiet, clean and cosy room, nice roof terrace.

This hotel is gorgeous with plenty of antique ambiance. It used to be a palace! Rooms are nicely decorated. The roof top terrace is gorgeous and very romantic for couples. The breakfast is outstanding as far as Italian breakfasts are concerned with lots of fruit included as well. There is also an 'Honour Bar' on the roof top terrace and... More

Hotel Cellai could be a good choice if you want a central location in a boutique hotel in Florence and get a good deal. You are within walking distance of all the central museums and attractions. We had a professional welcome by the front desk manager. We were asked to wait a few minutes before the room was ready and... More

This hotel is definitely not a 4 star by any stretch of the imagination. We stayed there for 4 nights in July, our room was very small and although the cleanliness was acceptable it was not to a high standard. Grouting in shower cupicle was black in places as was areas on top of skirting boards in bedroom. Bed linen... More

Great location...five minute walk from David and the cathedral. Breakfast was delicious and breakfast room was so cool. Our hotel room was clean and really cute. The ambiance of the hotel was really neat. There was a problem with the hot water and the friendly staff worked quickly to get it fixed, offering free drinks for the inconvenience. We were... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
