Lovely room, wonderful service. This hotel felt like a dream. The room decor was inviting and luxurious; I didn't want to leave. Breakfast was delectable. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. It was everything Florence should be.

Great luxury hotel in the centre of Florence. Rooms are excellent with great views of the city (we were on 6th floor which has a spectacular view). Lovely bathrooms and very comfortable beds. Would return on my next visit!

Came to the tastefully stylish and modern Hotel Continenale for 3 nights during winter. It was my girlfriend's birthday so I requested flowers for our room that I would pay for separately. Not only did they arrange a beautiful bouquet waiting in the room upon our arrival, but showed up with a complimentary bottle of Proseco on ice that evening.... More

We loved our stay at the Continentale. The rooms are comfortable, with uber-cool decor. The staff were extremely helpful, suggesting good restaurants nearby. We did not eat at the hotel, but its location is unbeatable. From here you can walk in ten minutes or less to many of Florence's great museums and churches and enjoy the endless cafes and shops.... I have just spent the week-end in Firenze with friends and we had a great stay at the Continentale. Cozy room, absolutely super service with staff always looking to find the right solution to our numerous requests. Very confortable rooms, both with a view on the Arno river. I will certainly stay again in this hotel when I come back... More

this hotel is very trendy and modern. two things i am usually not interested in while enjoying Firenze. However, their rooftop has beautiful views of the city as well as the countryside and you can dart through their front entrance and away from the mass crowds spilling off of the Ponte Vecchio. As far as the ambiance, the food isn't... More

The location is supreme - next to the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is the "junior" member of the Lungarno collection in Florence - so don't expect the extreme presentation (or tariiff!) of its partners. Breakfast can, however, be taken in the adjoining partner hotels. The roof top bar is the place. Don't be worried about the (high) cost if drinks... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
