My single room was like a cheap YMCA room. It was nothing more than a very basic small room with a tiny shower. If you are booking a single room, stay away from this hotel. The hotel is in a good central position, between the station and the Duomo - a fine location if you arrive by train for a copuple of days' sightseeing.
