Paris Hotel is close to Santa Maria Novella station, you can go by foot. It is a good hotel if you will stay 3 ~ 5 day in Florence. The room is clear, but the bathroom is very small. Is has a good breakfast.

Charming hotel with classic Italian Royal style. The building is beautiful and the staff is very professional. Loved the breakfast especially the room where it is served! This was the second time we went to this hotel and I would happily go back. Note: The location it's perfect!

This is a hotel that old palace was renewed to. The atmosphere is historical. Bed size was enough in spite of an old Italian hotel. Smoking is prohibited inside of the building, but at the terrace connected with the room, it is allowed. The room is, of course, old. But the bathroom is new and clean. The door... More

The room is big with a beautiful view. Location is excellent and is easy accessible from the train station. Breakfast was enjoyable. Their decor is a bit old but not to bad. All in all we had a great stay.

Five minute easy walk from the train station, very close to the Duomo (you can see it from the hotel entrance). I felt very safe at night going back to the hotel. Room was small but both it and the bathrom were very clean. The hotel was once part of a Palazzo so, even though it's not a modern hotel,... More

The room was beautiful. It was exactly as pictured online with original frescoes on the ceiling, wood floor, and stained glass windows. The bathroom was clean and efficient however it was cramped with little room to get in and out of the tub. Breakfast was great with a variety of rolls, cheese, cereal, fruit and yogurt. The hotel is in... More

I stayed in the Paris Hotel in June 2015 with my mum for 5 nights. We had a twin room which was a very good size and very Italian in décor with huge shutters on the windows. The room was worn and needs some updating but it was clean. The bathroom was of a good size too and again, very... More

Stayed in this beautiful hotel for five nights. Location is very good: just a few minutes walk to the train station and all sightseeing attractions. Staff are all friendly, helpful and made us feel home. When the hotel knew that it was our 25th wedding anniversary, they were so nice to arrange a sparkling wine for our celebration. What a... Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
