We loved the convenient location of this hotel. It was an easy walk to the train station, bus station and major sights. The surrounding area has a variety of restaurants offering anything from a quick snack to fine dining. The room was very nicely decorated and had wood (cherry) accents, giving the room a warmth not often found in hotels.... More

Stayed here for three nights as part of Grand Circle cruise tour. Having read previous travelers' comments, we requested a room on a higher floor not facing the piazza. This was a good move as many other members of the group (including the tour director) were disturbed by outside noises (including ambulances) from piazza. Our room was small but clean... More

I really can't say how it is to stay at this hotel because we arrived on schedule to be told that the room we'd reserved months before was not available because the hotel was overbooked. The hotel did send us to another one, but it was not at all of the same style and was not nearly so well located.... More

This hotel was fine - nothing particularly wrong with it but nothing particularly great except the location right on the square. We asked for an interior room to avoid the noise from the square. The room was dark - not just because it was an interior room but because it had no overhead light and the desk lamp, floor lamp... More

Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with lots of space to stack your clothes. Location is amazing and bang on the Piazza Santa Maria within walking distance from numerous bars and restaurants and the train station as well. However, if you have lots of luggage then you will find it difficult to walk with all... More

Lovey we'll run hotel in just the best place for everything you want to do in Florence. Very nice rooms. Very good staff. Close to the railway and all the attractions. Breakfast room not the best and wifi could be better. All in all, highly recommended

ummmm Location is not that bad, walking distance from Firenze SMN station. For those who like staying near the station, not a bad choice. Personally, prefer to stay closer to the river (if not along the river). Staff was horrible, even in Italian standard. Reception desk was not functioning, obviously understaffed. Only one lady during check out hours (and apparently... More

The location is perfect. Walking distance to the train station that brings you anywhere you would like to go not just in Florence but anywhere else in Italy . Eating places near the hotel give it another big "+" but most of all, the nice and spacious modern room and bathroom plus kind and helpful staff in the hotel made... More
