Hard bed, cramped bathroom, elevator wasn't always working well, tired furnishings..... Hard to find by car, but once you do, you can unload in front of the hotel and they have someone come park it for you. No concierge on site but the staff tried to help answer questions. However, good location to leather market and hop on hop off... More

The Hotel location is great its within walking distance from the train station and major attractions. The room was very clean and beds as well. We stayed for 4 days but by the end of the second the day the hated out beds. They were hard and not comfortable to sleep in. Other than that the hotel is good and... More

We stayed here a few nights in August. The room, although spacious, was not comfortable at all. We barely slept as the beds were hard and unforgiving. The hotel has a rustic aesthetic and so 'comfort' doesn't come through much. The food was okay - not much choice and if you aren't one of the first ones there, be prepared... More

We stayed for 4 nights and loved the location of the hotel. The reception is cramped but once past this the room was a pleasant size with ample storage for a few nights stay. Given the busy street outside the room was quiet as we were on first floor I was initially concerned but rooms are based around the inside... More

While visiting Florence, we stayed here 2 days and nights. It's a restored home with original art work and ceiling frescoes....just a very interesting place to stay. Rooms were spacious, clean, comfy beds, and located well off of the main lobby, so very quiet. Our breakfast dining room was such a memory with the ceiling art; the food was tasty,... More

This hotel is a small boutique hotel located about 2 blocks from the train station. It's also 2 blocks from the open market...and down the street from a grocery store, several bistros...and little sandwich places and gelato shops. Most importantly it is a 5 minute walk to the Duomo....a 20 minute walk to the Palazzo Pitti. What we liked was... More

The front desk stated, we had to pay their tax in cash.. Later we found that it was okay to pay with credit card. The front desk lady was so rude. It was very clear we only paid for location. The bed was horrible. The room was clean.

This was a very central hotel close to train station and walking distance of all Florence lovely historical sites. Views from our room were spectacular, room was small for the prices charged, bathroom is a bit tired but clean. Breakfast was very basic tinned fruit croissants and a few cereals.

Wow, how this place can call itself a palace is beyond me. This place is terrible! This place has no positive qualities at all. It's old, tired, falling apart and decor is stuck in the 1930's. Everything about this hotel is cramped and suffocating. The room was disgusting, extremely tired and in desperate need of an update. There was absolutely... More

Stayed for 6 nights here on a business trip. The room was very poorly lit and depressing. The bedspread was deteriorating from age, with several holes starting. The rooms do not contain irons, which I needed to iron business clothes. The front desk recommended setting up an appointment with an affiliated hotel, and taking my clothes there to iron myself....
