I went to Florence to participate at a public exam and I stayed at Albani hotel. I needed to study in that days and I got a silence and concentration at Albani hotel where I stayed in a deluxe double room with every comfort. The room was very large. The location is perfect.

This was a very relaxing, luxurious hotel very close (within 500m) from the Florence train station and within a 10 minute walk to the centre of town and main attractions. Rooms were very clean and well appointed and had marbled bathrooms. A/C was brilliant.

We stayed here for three nights and would recommend it highly. It is tucked away a little in a great location, near the station and near all the wonderful sights. The room was perfect and even had a lovely balcony. Free WiFi and breakfast - what's to complain about. Stay here, it's fantastic

Stayed only one night, service is excellent and efficient. Location fantastic, room is a good size and very very classy. The bathroom is marble but had a strange smell, didn't complain because only here for 1 night. Breakfast is decent for a 4 star hotel. Hotel offers out source valet parking we had a larger car paid €34 for smaller... More

Just back from a great holiday in Italy, started with a couple of nights here. Superb hotel. Location excellent - very near station and all major attractions. Very quiet and rooms superb. We had a triple room. Main bed was a super king. Staff very helpful and spoke every language. Breakfast excellent and a great offering of Gluten Free food... More

The hotel is a short walk from the train station and close to many interesting sites. We had asked for connecting rooms and our rooms were very nice with an entrance door, small hallway and then two separate rooms. The rooms were of decent size and well appointed. We stayed here for four nights. Upon our arrival, the desk clerk... More

The Hotel Albani is a very short walk from the train station and only blocks from major sights in Firenze. We were a group of 5 women traveling and loved this hotel. The staff was very attentative. Two weeks prior to our stay my college student daughter stored excess luggage that we retrieved on our outbound stay. Her bag was... More

Just a trip via Florence, allowed us to walk to the city centre late afternoon, visit the fantastic Mercato Centrale Eat Italy , and then walk to the train stain 5 minutes away the next morning. Perfect room and helpful staff.

Three days here. Room was lovely, clean and well cared for. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a bit spartan for a 4 star rated hotel. Our A/C was great as the outside temp was nearly 100F each day we were here.

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
