Stayed for 3 nights on family vacation. Our room had a queen bed with one rollaway which was actually quite comfortable. Gorgeous older hotel but updated with modern amenities. Bathroom was floor to ceiling marble, with one shower and one bath. We had plenty of natural light, with two large bay windows in the room (although lighting at night was... More

Stayed for 3 nights to attend a conference in the nearby Firenze Fiera conference centre. Around €100 per night. Room was dreadful. No natural light because blinds couldn't open. Leak around shower pipes leaving a pool of water in the bathroom. Everything is in need of major refurbishment. Breakfast was mediocre, dinner was even worse. Overall a bad experience. Avoid.

The hotel geenrally speaking is quite adequate, although more as a 3 star hotel than as a 4 star one. Check-in was promptly done and staff courteous although not very warm. Our room was of a decent size but the coulour and carpets are dated although we did not care much for that. What bothered us more was the inadequate... More

Our triple room was enormous, plenty of storage and large ensuite with two showers. Mirrored celing in the bathroom and mirrors just everywhere ! Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and there was an outside terrace as well as a bar inside. Reception staff extremely helpful with directions and location couldn't have been better. Just a stone's throw from... More

No complaints about hotel at all. Breakfast was fantastic, rooms were nice, amenities nice, location fantastic. You literally cannot be closer to the train station - right at the hub of Florence. The beds and pillows could use some work, but this seems to be a theme in Italy. Bathrooms - very nice, good water pressure, etc. Staff was helpful... More

The Hotel is next to Santa Maria Novella train station, which makes it a perfect selection for those who are about to travel to the villages of Tuscan. It is 5' away from the hurt of the History Center, which makes it a perfect selection for those who want to explore Florence. The rooms, althought they don't have a special... More

My sister and I traveled to Italy for a 10 day trip and stayed 3 nights in Florence. This hotel lives up to it's reputation. It is beautiful decorated, very clean and spacious when comparing to other European hotels. The breakfast each morning was nothing short of spectacular with a nice variety of hot, homemade food. It is a 10... More

We stayed there for 2 nights. Nice hotel and good spread of buffet breakfast served. Only less than 15 mins walk to main station. It's also near to lots of restaurants and San Lorenzo market which is only less than 10 mins walk. The only drawback during our stay would be the smelly carpet in our room, which we can... More

With florence so small, the location of the hotel was perfect, near the train station allowing us easy access to Pisa and Sienna. The hotel was wonderful, by far one of the more spacious European hotels we stayed at. Despite the wifi being a little spotty the first night the location and beauty of the hotel were spot on, especially... More
