The hotel was really close to the train station, but the area does not really have any of the charm that the rest of the city does. It felt like any average city instead of one that the tour books described as the lily of the Renaissance. That being said, it only took about 5-10 minutes to get to the... more

Location is great especially pulling suitcases the very short distance to train station. Most tours depart from the train station area. Great staff, rooms, breakfast, location to central city is good. A/C would swing hot and cold a bit, but ok. Good restaurant across the streets and in the hotel. Carry a good map as streets are confusing, but staff... more

Very nicely appointed and clean hotel well worthy of its 4* rating. It was about 3 minutes walk from the station and very convenient and easy to find. The city centre is about a 10 minute walk but again very easy. The staff were happy to please and the room was large and comfortable with air conditioning. We would certainly... more

We took our baby here. The staff were helpful and friendly and service was fairly good. Quite near centre of Florence. Lifts were very narrow. Breakfast was nice. more

Florence was easily the best part of our trip. And this hotel was perfect. Just far enough from the center of town, it was easy to find. Close to the Arno, and only 5-10 minutes to the center, it's a great place. The staff was great and very helpful. The restaurant served us an excellent supper. My wife ate the... more

I stayed in Venice, Florence and Rome on this trip and this was the best hotel of the three. It actually had a Queen size bed (rather than two twin pushed together). Breakfast was very good. The location was ok. I would stay a little closer to the city center next time. It was about a 10 minute walk to... more

The hotel is surprisingly very nice and elegant, nice stay. The area around the hotel is not as i would of liked, but always felt safe, during the day or night no problems. more

We stayed at the Adriatico for the last 5 nights of April and were very pleased with the hotel itself. The location isn't great in terms of the surroundings. It's a less attractive part of Florence and seems to be the area for the local African immigrants. They hang around in the streets in the evenings but it's not intimidating... more

Near the train station and the stop for the bus tour, we thought this hotel was very well located. Few good restaurants around. Very big room for Italy. Very nice breakfast. We were very happy with this hotel and would definitely come back and recommend it. Staff very helpful asa well. more

It's about ten minutes walk from ponte vecchio. The triple room was 45 square metres! The bathroom was large too. The room had no balkony but it was very warm and cozy. We had a problem about our passports and we had to change the dates of staying. Thanks to Paolo (hotel manager) that was easy. It didn't turn out... more
