A short walk from the train station this wonderful old building offered charm and a beautiful room. The common areas were very pretty and provided an at home feel. Frustrating to pay for internet but still a good value hotel with an excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Went out of their way to assist us with a tour booking. Very... More

I was very skeptical about staying at a Best Western in Florence, Italy. Boy! Was I surprised. This hotel is wonderful! It is a very short walk from the train station. On a great street with good restaurants. The staff, Silvano, Daniele and bartender, Sani were wonderful! The rooms was very clean and quiet. The only thing took getting use... More

Near to main rail station, walking distance to main sites. Hotel rooms are all different sizes, this is a 'sprawling hotel with many corridors, some rooms are bring updated. Carpets in corridors a little too worn for a four star hotel. Hotel generally good, was disappointed there was no free wifi and a charge was made for 24 hours of... More

Well situated, close walking distance to all city centre tourist spots and train/bus station. Situated on not too busy back street that had several restaurants/bars. Room comfortable (didn't spend too much time in there anyway), staff were always friendly and available for advice, assistance, etc. The jacuzzi in the court yard was a nice touch, ideal place to wind down... Our family of five arrived in Florence on Aug 13 for a two night stay. We had two rooms which as requested, were next to each other. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and spacious. Our view was of the inner courtyard. Breakfast was included with our rooms. It was a buffet breakfast with something for everyone. The staff... More

Hotel Rivoli is a lovely old convent converted with lots of different rooms and courtyards. Our room was very modern and one of the newly renovated. We had a lovely terrace that overlooked the spa and courtyard. Unfortunately they don't have free WiFi, perhaps something they may offer in the future as all our other hotels in Europe had this.... I have enjoyed Florence for many years but the hustle & bustle can be overwhelming. Escaping to the little paradise of Hotel Rivoli gives me the moments to relax so I can get out and explore more of this beautiful city. It is within walking distance of everything you would want to see/do. The staff speak fluent english & I... More

The location of the Rivoli is one of it's greatest assets. Close to everything but not so close that it's too hectic. The hotel is a charming hodgepodge of buildings (including an old convent) that surround a nice courtyard. We stayed twice within a couple weeks and were pleased with the cleanliness and the helpfullness of the staff. One downside... More

The location is just next to the main train station, between the historical city center and the peaceful park delle cascine. The hotel is also just a few meters away from the restaurant Osteria Pastella where you can enjoy fresh made pasta. The double room was quiet, with a kind size bed, a sofa and a large bathroom. Furthermore, as... More

We stayed at the Rivoli Hotel in Via La Scala. Beautiful old hotel, previously a convent. Lovely courtyard where you could have breakfast as well as the dining room. Located close to the Piazza and a nice little restaurant opposite. A lovely old church worth looking at was Santa Maria. Within walking distance to Ponte Vecchio and Duomo. Unbelievable the... More
