I just came back from a business trip to Florence where I stayed at Hotel de La Ville. The location of this hotel is excellent, just a walking distance from everything! What a beautiful hotel in a great location! What made this even better were the amazingly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and large, breakfast very good and bar was great. Spent two night recently at Hotel de la Ville. Great location between the Duomo and the train station. Room was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked great. The bed was very comfortable and everything I saw in the hotel was spotless. The breakfast which was included was adequate. The front desk staff were helpful. Most of the time friendly.... more

We were at the hotel for 3 nights. When we arrived, our reservations (pre-paid) appeared to have been cancelled, but they realized it was a mistake and upgraded us for the first night. The front desk staff, particularly Stephanie who seemed to be there constantly, were incredibly helpful. Great location, good breakfast, decent sized room for a European hotel. more
