Fridge in room and excellent air-con. Flat screen tv. New shower room. ( rain shower and hand held) The reception rooms were lovely, with plenty of sofas and a baby grand... More

Dear Guest, I thank you very much for your 5 stars review! Our location is quiet and with many very good restaurants, they all give good food and service at a reasonable price. I understand you liked our room very much but you have been a little disappointed for the iron board and coffee facilities. We cannot allow our Guests... More

This hotel is conveniently located near the train terminal and a short walk to the river and most sites in the city. The hotel itself is gorgeous, with an amazing history, and the rooms are large and beautiful. The winding halls and "secret" stairways made the hotel feel even more extraordinary. The staff were extremely helpful as we planned our... More

Dear Noel, I am happy to know you enjoyed your stay in our hotel so much! It is so nice you really had the feeling of staying in a very particular place. In fact, our deluxe rooms located in the historic part of the hotel called "Terrazzino reale" mostly are hidden by stairways and 3 centuries old wooden doors, close... More

This hotel is a very nice place to stay, close to the train terminal. Our room was in the fourth floor and even we have to climb a set of stairs it was worth it, the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and the personnel always helpful especially Ricardo. Thanks for a great stay.

Dear Federico, It has been a great pleasure for me welcoming you to the Executive! Our 3 rooms on the fourth floor are approachble by lift (3 floors) and a few steps, but the view you have from those rooms is the best of our hotel. And also they have been fully renovated last March. Hope to see you soon... More

We were here for an entire week, and I never got tired of it. Housekeeping always did amazing job. The breakfast was phenomenal, as well as the... More

Staying in Santa Maria Novella

Neighborhood Profile
Santa Maria Novella
Santa Maria Novella train station welcomes the majority of the people arriving in Florence, which might explain the hectic pace. Commuters and tourists come across the constant hustle and bustle of the station before exiting, taking a few steps and stopping amazed in Piazza di Santa Maria Novella. It is impossible not to admire the the square, housing one of the most charming basilicas in Florence. The area has plenty of local spots to taste Tuscan specialties, but don’t stop in the main streets alone; the narrower side streets always ensure satisfaction. The huge Parco Delle Cascine provides a solution to the need for a green area as well as a historic welcome in the form of a bronze statue of King Vittorio Emanuele II riding a horse.
