We went there my husband and I for two nights. The hotel is far from the city center. The lobby is nice however the rooms are old, filthy and need renovation. The breakfast is very mediocre and without any service. They should look after enhancing their services

We stayed at this hotel last Easter for a long week-end to visit Florence. The hotel was ideally located close to city center, the main train station, and to the Arno river and therefore it was extremely easy to reach city center by walk with not a chance to get lost! The room was a good size and so was... More

despite classified as a 4* hotel, it is a real 3* one. reception is more then o.k., but cleanliness in rooms still need to be improved. lot of noise during the day, as part of hotel was under repairs. + lot of noise from the street too, as windows are not in their very good shape and traffic, including busses,... This hotel is only two blocks from the Arno, and a short walk from the historic center of Florence, and offers a quiet and elegant respite for the weary traveler. My only criticisms, which are mild, involve the wi-fi connection (adequate, but required frequent re-connection) and the shower (which, again, was perfectly adequate, but lacked sufficient water pressure to be... When entering the beautiful lobby of this hotel you get a wonderful feeling of stepping back in time. The décor and sitting areas of the lobby are lovely to look at and very comfortable with a tea/coffee tray thoughtfully placed so that we could sit and relax as we were at tad early for our room. The front desk staff... More

I love that this hotel was such an easy walk to all of the popular tourist destinations and yet in a quiet part of town just far enough away from the crowds. The hotel was very clean and inviting and the staff was helpful, warm and friendly. The internet was hit and miss, but fortunately I was too busy enjoying... More

The only things that is acceptable in this hotel is the lobby decoration; a nice boutique hotel decoration with a warm atmosphere. As for the rooms, you have the impression that it is part of the medieval era. As for breakfast, it is a self service breakfast since they have one employee that never approaches any guest or at least,... More

Very good hotel, thoroughly recommend. Wifi a little dodgy but no other complaints, good service friendly good location 10 min walk from train station quite close and quiet and clean. Not much more to say, breakfast was nice.

We booked our 3 night stay through Booking.com. It was a non-refundable site but the pics online were so impressive we booked it. I am not sure what hotel they photographed for the ad but it was not the one at which we stayed. When we expressed our surprise at the difference the manager as much as told us too... More

Dear Mrs Raymond, I am sorry but I absolutely cannot accept your review, for many reasons: 1) Your reservation. Booked a standard room, but you were claiming a deluxe room as you liked a picture seen on Booking.com of a deluxe room bathroom. Standard room pictures showed on Booking.com are different. You completely misunderstood, it is not our Hotel who... More

Like you, I too scoured each hotel review in Florence. I had passed over this hotel several times but finally with the recommendation of my wedding planner and its close proximity to the US Consulate, we booked. The location is great! It literally is one block to the Arno and US Consulate. It is within walking distance to points of... More
