The Hotel Pierre in Florence is great. It's a 4 star I think, and lived up to what I expect from a 4 star hotel. This is a nice hotel. Our rooms were large, bathrooms fine, staff nice and helpful, corridors a bit bizarre - two buildings joined, so strange doors to open and lock every time you left room. Breakfast best eaten elsewhere. But the big point is the location. It's near everything and everything you want or need is just a walk away.... more
