Squeeky put up bed......for a 6 year old, who when didn't keep himself awake did everyone else. That's not the worst........no double glazing, on the main road into Florence, the noise was dreadful. Cars zooming past all night, loud ambulances 2 an hour and the road sweepers just when you think it's quiet enough to sleep. You could even hear... More

Family hotel or for a larger group. Stopped 1+1 nights June-July 2014 for way in and out from Tuscany. Closeness to airport and the easy way to the city of Florence with local transportation is a defenite bonus. Only the small parking space was limiting, but we changed our car hiring plans for one day and used local transportation instead.... More

We had booked this hotel back in January 2014 and being close to the airport, it would be a good idea to have a hotel close so we could get onto our Tuscany adventure early the next morning. The Alitalia flight was delayed in Rome so we didnt arrive till late. When we arrived at this hotel we were told... More

We choose this hotel because it's location near the Florence airport and thought it would be a good value for money because it included breakfast. Hotel classifies itself as a four star hotel which it is definately not. Rooms are dark, untidy and very oldfashioned. Noises coming from the street is very loud. Entrance hall was also loud, phones rang... More

The hotel is OK, the rooms are clean even though all looks a bit old-fashioned (like tourist hotels in 70's or 80's). Keys still traditional and left at the reception when you leave. The receptionists are nice and helpful. Safe parking with ca. 40 places, limited number. Close to bus stop - it takes around 20 minutes by bus to... More

I arrived at the hotel with my family and came 4 nights. The room was dirty, under the beds did not wash the floor for over a month. Linens for 4 nights not changed even once. In the bathroom constantly, something fell off; draining the sink did not work, in the soul too. The district was not safe for 3... More

To be perfectly honest: we knew that this hotel would not be the best in show. It was recommended to us by some friends staying there previously and we decide to book it because of free parking and a good price as compared to hotels in Florence city centre. We have also followed the advice from some other reviewers and... More

Hotel Nord Florence is a reasonable compromise if like myself your plan is to visit Florence and not spend much time in the hotel. The hotel is well located, at 15min by bus (29/30/35) to St Maria Novella Station (central station), although its hard to find the bus stop from the centre to the hotel and I wouldn't advise to...
