When I travel, I want two things from the place I stay at..... It needs to be clean and it needs to be central...! Residenza Castelli was spotless....!! Clean, fresh and warm! As for the location, from our window we were a stone throw away from the Ponte Vecchio...!! You can't get more florence than that!! Just perfect!!

Super easy to find and right next to Ponte Vecchio so impossible to get lost. It looked exactly like the photographs. Lorenzo was very friendly and helped us out with good restaurant suggestions . Will definitely return

Located in the heard of the city centre maked our staying and moving around extremely easy. The room covers the needs for 2-4 days of staying and the guys who runs it are happy to provide even more as soon as you ask them. The staff is very helpful, held us to move around and suggested us lots of things... More

This hotel is perfect for a short stay. Even though the room wasn't big everything you need was there. The bed slept great and the service was good. Recommended restaurants from the reception were very good, we enjoyed everyone of them. The bathroom was also small, but the shower was very good.

Pros Perfect location - very central and everything within walking distance. Room was clean and staff helpful. Cons Room was very noisy, we were woken throughout the night by street noise. Bed was very uncomfortable. Reception isn't manned all the time so there was no one to meet us when we checked in.

We stayed here earlier this month when visiting Florence. It was very easy to find and in a great location. 2 minutes from the Ponte Vecchio and about 5-10 minutes from all of the other major sights. We managed to check in ok even though it wasn't a 24 hour check-in and we were out with the time! Very helpful... More

My wife and I booked Residenza Castelli for our three night stay in Florence based on location (literally steps from the Ponte Vecchio) and price (297 euro for three nights, prepaid non refundable). On the day we were supposed to check in there was actually an electrical problem with the unit which Lorenzo and his team could not have handled... More

Brilliant location close to Ponte Vecchio restaurants museums and shops. Lorenzo and other staff incredibly helpful. Loved Florence and this place was the best. Great value for money. Recommended highly. Florence is a wonderful place to visit and we extended our stay.

Overall the stay at Residenza Castelli was excellent, from the time we arrived and up to our departure. The team is friendly and very helpful. We were even surprised by a nice bottle of prosecco when we mentioned that we were on our honeymoon, such a nice gesture! The rooms are clean and spacious, we could easily rest during the... More

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apparent that is newly renovated and well maintained. This second floor apartment is in walking distance from major tourist attractions and excellent restaurants. Each bedroom room has a good quality queen size bed and the kitchen/living room is well equipped with dishes, a refrigerator, electric range, refrigerator and Nespresso machine as well as a... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
