This is not a hotel in the traditional sense, it has a limited number of rooms and limited "manned" reception so if "24 hour room service etc" is what you need then look elsewhere. What it does offer, however, is very friendly and efficient check in etc, very nice comfortable rooms, great bathrooms/showers, fantastic location and good value for money.... More

Stayed here for 5 days with a family of 12 and was treated far better than expected. Great location overlooking the popular nightlife and great service from the staff! 10/10 from me and my family! The rooms were perfect size with clean bathrooms and a good amount of closet space for a room in the middle of Florence

Very nice place literally a stones throw away from Ponte Vecchio. Great base location for seeing all the sites in Florence. Room was good but a bit small. Bed comfortable. WiFi was somewhat spotty for the two days we were there. The price was right. If we were staying longer I'd opt for a larger room next time but overall... More

What a little gem! We stayed here for 3 nights in a very busy Florence in June! This is in the most perfect location, and you are given your own key so you can come and go as you please which we did! It was so close to everything that we could pop in and use the facilities in our... More

This is an excellent apartment to stay in very central in Florence. Despite this it is very quiet! The staff were friendly and even carried my bag up all the stairs and recommended restaurants and places to visit on the map. The room was good sized. The shower was tiny - shower stall, but not surprising for Europe. The location... More

After an hour of searching for the apartment within a 5 minute area and asking 2 policemen, we finally had to give up and phone the contact for the accommodation. As this is not a hotel but more like serviced apartments, there is no name resembling Residenza Castelli on the building but a plaque quoting '4 rooms & RCG' which... More

Old apartments that were converted to rooms to stay. Nice , clean rooms, but rather small and with basic breakfast. 2 minutes walk from ponte vecchio but quiet if you consider the place it is located. Could not rate it excellent because it is not an actual hotel , not even bed & breakfast and because the room service was... More

MOST UNBELIEVEABLE HOTEL! I would recommend for ANYONE traveling to Florence. The building gave the feel of an apartment. Essentially, when you first get there you ring a door buzzer to get up to the third floor of this building. You are met by one of the helpful staff members into the RCG offices through another locked door and then... More

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, it was really good accomodation in the heart of Florence, very near and accessible to all attractions.. Just a few minutes to the charming Ponte Vecchio. The owner and staffs are very kind and helpful, will definitely come back to this hotel.

We feel like at home. Lorenzo and Pamela were so kind and helpful during our stay. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Easy to access everywhere by walking. But bathroom is really small. If we come again to firenze, we definitely stay in here.

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
