We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Centrale. True to the name, the hotel was in a very central location in Florence. Staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. One drawback: the elevator did not go all the way to our floor, and we had to walk up 2 flights (1 floor) from where the... More

Hotel Centrale is a great place to stay in while in Florence. It's a great location with a 10-15 minute walk to pretty much anything you want to see. It's tucked away on a quiet street though, so while you were in the room it was very quiet. It was also very secure. The free breakfast included was incredible. Everything... More

We enjoyed our stay for 4 nights. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station and convenient to everything. The Duomo and Central Market are right around the corner. Breakfast is included and was very good. They will make an omelette (with ham, mushrooms, artichokes, etc.) or a crepe with Nutella or jam. Cereal, yogurt and... More

The location in Florence is perfect, close to the duomo but tucked down a side street for some privacy. We were able to get to every attraction in 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and courteous. Every morning for breakfast they were happy to make my wife a nutella crepe (they will also make an omelette on request). Overall its... More

We stayed for a romantic getaway, the hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We ordered room service most nights for some wine and they even provided us with some delicious canapés which wasn't expected but very welcome. The breakfast was far better than I expected, they specialise in European style meats and cheese, fruit, cereals and... More

This hotel is right in the centre of Florence, within easy walking distance of everything you want to see. My wife and I spent a lovely week here in March/April visiting places by train and bus - both easy to use. Hotel reception were very helpful - good English spoken. Despite being in the centre, our room was quiet at... More

The hotel is located bang in the middle of tourist attractions. Room was very clean, beds very comfortable, excellent breakfast. Fresh cut fruits, omelette, crepes and nice cappuccino. Being eggeterian we had found the breakfast really good and kept us going through the day a bit more time than our usual lunch time. The ladies in the breakfast room did... More

Great hotel. Free breakfast and WiFi! The breakfast was amazing too! Omelets and crepes, cappuccinos and espresso! And the usual continental style. The ladies at the front desk were always nice, and friendly. The rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The location was ideal. Overall it went well.

Location is good as it is a short walk from the train station and many of the main sights. Lots of restaurants in the vicinity which is helpful. Hotel was nice and modern with pleasant staff but the room was very noisy. We had a ground floor room which was on a corner and we could hear people talking outside... More

We booked for one night in a Superior room. The hotel is a slightly odd set up with a large and lovely reception area from which you enter a microscopic and very slow lift to get to the ‘main’ hotel. Or take the broad stone stairs up two floors. Our room was not that big although it was recently decorated,... More
