The location is unbeatable: a couple blocks of the train station and extremely close to all attractions. Breakfast is included and I must say it was delicious. Our was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely stay here again!! Highly recommend!!

Stayed for one night, its bang in the middle of the train, ready access to all of the attractions by foot and the Duomo is literally around the corner. The room was of a great standard, smaller than I'd expected considering it was meant to be 200 euros before the discount, but from clean, tidy and modern. The staff where... More

Spacious room, elevator, right in the middle of everything. The hotel is more like an apartment building so the rooms are more like an apartment then a hotel. There are several restaurants right outside your front door and all have great food.

This hotel is centrally located and hardly 500 meters from the station. The road to the Domo and everything is in walking worth seeing in florence is in walking distance. The staff were super helpful when we had to book our wine tour. They literally booked our trip in the middle of the night for a tour next day. Also,... More

Good continental breakfast with fresh omellates/coffee etc. Very central to all sites. POOR wifi in the room and very TINY elevator. (or would give 5 stars). BIG room and comfy. A central microwave would help to heat things.

This is a nice hotel with fantastic location, just a short walk to the Duomo. Our room was well sized, nice and clean. The shower was a bit small. Breakfast is just decent. Front desk staff was very welcoming.

The hotel is 5 minutes from the Duomo and 10 min from train station and 25 min from airport. This hotel is very nice with a large reception with sitting area.. The room was perfect for the 3 of us with a good size bathroom and comfortable bed with a memory foam mattress ...Breakfast was included and was excellent. They... More

The hotel itself is nothing special. Basic, somewhat dated accommodation. Internet was quick. The front desk staff is fine, though somewhat indifferent. You have to give the front desk staff your room key each time you leave the hotel, and a couple of times there was no one at the desk... because they were standing outside smoking. My room was... It's the perfect blend of location, comfort, friendly staff and old school refinement. Situated so close to the Ferrovia, Duomo, l'Accademia, Piazza della Signora, and Mercato Centrale, I could not think of a better location. The staff are terrific. A special call out to the great help and friendliness of "Lisa" and "Giulia" at the front desk. They are terrific.... More

Staying in San Lorenzo

Neighborhood Profile
San Lorenzo
San Lorenzo’s lively merchants shout out from behind stalls with an array of products in one of the most traditional neighborhoods in Florence. Different ethnic groups join together in the large outdoor market of San Lorenzo and in the Central Market, a vast multi-floored building. Visitors are bound to fall in love with this area and in particular, with its variety of food, especially those focusing on Florentine dishes as well as international selections. Nobody leaves San Lorenzo without a shopping bag in hand or with an empty stomach.
