My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights from June 26th until June 29th, and absolutely loved it. We came to Florence from Venice, where we stayed at a "4-star" hotel, and though this is only ranked as a "3-star", we liked Hotel Centrale MUCH better. The room was spacious with a high ceiling, and we thought... more

The location is wonderful. We walked from train station (not too bad if you packed light) and were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Room (#15) was clean and as spacious as most European hotels. Breakfast and lounge areas are comfortable and clean. The breakfast offerings were plentiful (don't miss the Sicilian blood orange juice).... more

Great location and perfect rooms. The rooms seemed newly renovated and were impeccable. Our room had a view of the dome of San Lorenzo. The hotel was perfect in every way. Would definitely recommend to anyone. more

This hotel is in the perfect location. The main train station is only a 5 minute at most walking and the dumno is just around the corner from the hotel, 1 minute away. Despite its perfectly central location the hotel is located in a quiet street and there was no noise at night or anything like that. The service was... more

My parents stayed in this hotel for their Florence trip, and were pleased with it overall. But I wanted to leave a review for the wonderful service hotel provided, even though I did not stay there myself. I emailed the hotel, requesting flowers and wine to be placed in my parents room for their arrival. The hotel responded immediately (within... more

I stayed in this hotel for one night, and was extremely impressed. My ensuite room was scrupulously clean and pleasantly decorated; temperature was adjustable in the room. Despite its city centre location, it was also very quiet. The breakfast buffet was plentiful with lots of variety - what's more the staff were very nice. There was free WIFI in the... more

We stayed in the Centrale for 3 nights from 15-18 February. I chose the Hotel based on the reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. It was easy to find, just a short walk from Santa Maria Novella station and very close to the Duomo. We had no problem using the little lift (though we always walked downstairs).... more

This hotel was just magnificent. The location was perfect, the room was gorgeous! Everything about it was certainly value for money. The buliding is beautiful the rooms were spotless. Free online access in your room! The bathroom was just superb and we loved the shower! There was someone on reception 24 hours a day. The breakfast had a large selection... more

Once you get past walking down a small alley that is actually pretty safe and walk up the two flights of stairs (thank goodness they were short steps!) the hotel is just wonderful. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and the hotel is very centrally located. The breakfast was a good assortment. I was... more

Location is just perfect; 5min walking from St Maria del Fiore. The hotel has been recently renovated, and spending a fortune in refurbishment they don’t very much care about the pieces of furniture, that are rather basic. Breakfast is limited in the offer range. Each room is individually decorated, honouring one of the great painters of the Renaissance. My room... more
