My husband, 8 year old daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Centrale for 4 nights and I wished it could have been longer. It was a perfect location for us--near the train station and Duomo but on a quiet street. The hotel is on the 3rd floor and there is a tiny elevator but it worked fine for us.... more

Large, comfortable and clean rooms located between the main train station and the Duomo. Walking distance to absolutely everything with breakfast included. Reasonably priced for what you get - rooms are secure, air con works effectively and there is a mini bar in the room (which unfortunately wasn't restocked during our stay). Located within a stone's throw of the Duomo, it's difficult to get lost when trying to return to this hotel. Tucked away on a small side street, parking was available in a nearby garage. The location is wonderful. We walked from train station (not too bad if you packed light) and were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see. Room (#15) was clean and as spacious as most European hotels. Breakfast and lounge areas are comfortable and clean.
