We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Classic Hotel. All the staff spoke English understandably and were very helpful in helping us organize our exploration of Florence. The Bus picks up and delivers you nearby, three banks with ATMs are just down the street, the air conditioning works well and generates a very pleasant white noise. There is... More

I have just travelled to Siena after a lovely two night stay in Florence. We stayed at the Classic Hotel both nights and couldn't be happier with our choice. It's a ten minute walk from the center, lovely quiet location and really comfortable and characteristic rooms. Best of all the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Could not fault them.... More

This hotel is an old classical private "villa" with a surrounding garden. We chose it for its position just outside the traffic restricted area but close to the center. The hotel has a free parking inside the garden, that is a really great advantage considering the foolish parking fares of Florence, and staff (friendly and always helpful) will kindly let... More

Located by the very walls of the Boboli Gardens and 200 m from Porta Romana this lovely Villa hotel is easy to find, free parking if you go straight through the gates and affordable accommodations. Everything was ready for us in Our room situated on ground floor where the decoy is a bit old furnish wise, but clean and lots... More

Conveniently reachable by car from the motorway (follow Porta Romana all the way), this hotel is located in a beautiful house with a park for the car and to relax outside too. Each room has its own touch (it's the fourth time I've been there, first time in 2000). Friendly staff. Less than 5 min walk to Boboli Garden. 15... More

We stayed in this hotel at the end of a cycling tour of Tuscany and were so impressed we stayed another night ! This small family run hotel is a leafy oasis in a busy tourist town with extremely helpful staff and lovely rooms. It is a short 15 minute walk into the centre of Florence, has a garden and lovely... Outstanding experience. My husband and I wanted a hotel off the beaten path since we were going to "live" in Florence for two weeks. WE LOVED the Classic Hotel, it became our second home. The location was beautiful!!! Every night we enjoyed wine in the garden, and every morning walked into the city center. The staff including Francesco, Ev.s, Beredetta,... More

The Classic Hotel in Florence Italy is listed as a 3 star hotel but beware the differences in rating scales from one country to another. When compared to 3 star hotels in Austria (where I was two weeks previous to the current trip) the Classic is a two star at best. My discussions with others staying at other hotels in... More

Stayed here once and have such great memories of the street and the hotel. The rooms are very clean and pleasant. Beds comfortable and bathrooms reasonable for a older hotel. Charming staff. Totally let me run out of Italian before jumping in. Yes it is a full walk into town but many wonderful stops along the way made it fantastico.... More

I had a wonderful time staying at this lovely hotel in August 2013. The staff is so friendly, and they remember you. Travelling alone can easily make you feel invisible or insignificant, but the staff at the Classic Hotel made me feel so welcome, looked after even. Made me feel I was at home at their hotel. They must have... More
