We had stayed at the Hotel de Russie in Rome and our travel agent suggested to stay at the Rocco Forte sister hotel in Florence. I am pleased that we did as we had a wonderful suite directly on the Piazza della Republica. I have to say I was mildly disappointed that we were not informed the lobby, restaurant and... More

This hotel is beautiful. And the service is great. The room, closet and bathroom were all a good size. But unfortunately function did not quite match form - there were several issues with our room when we arrived -- both the safe and the shower were unusable and we couldn't get the lights to come on (this turns out to... This hotel is a luxury property in every sense of the word. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable with wonderful linens and the bathroom was elegant with marble floors and tub. Our room was on the top floor and overlooked the Piazza della Repubblica. I couldn't have asked for a better view. The meals... More

My wife and I recently returned from a trip to Florence during which we spent a couple of nights at the Hotel Savoy in Florence. Upon our arrival we were greeted warmly by the desk staff and directed to our room which they had upgraded to one of the executive suites. The room itself was beautifully appointed and contained every... More

Stayed here for 5 nights for my Wife's 50th and was very happy overall. The location is excellent, close to all the main attractions but you do pay for this in terms of money and noise!. We had a really nice balcony room overlooking the square, but on the first night were awake until 3.00 am. We worked out that... More

Lovely hotel that felt really luxurious despite the madness surrounding It during Pitti season and the eccentric people flocking to Florence that week Comfy rooms, greats service, relaxed breakfast and brilliant location =Happy traveller

Arrived with my family of four and was warmly greeted by the Staff. They reviewed all that I needed to know for our two day stay and checked us in promptly. Our two rooms were a connected suite that was absolutely gorgeous! Shutters closed out light completely, bathrooms were spotless and beautiful and beds were clean and comfortable. Doorman provided... You won't find a better location than this. Turn right out of the hotel and in two minutes you will be at the magnificent Duomo. Turn left out of the hotel and in a few minutes you will be at the Old Bridge. You can walk to all the sights from this hotel. Main train station is about a ten... More

Four nights of absolute pleasure in one of the world's most charming cities. The Savoy Hotel couldn't be better located for exploring the magic of this wonderful destination and provides the perfect retreat when the many medieval treasures, soaring architectural sights and Italian assaults on all your senses require a personal calming antidote. Over looking the square, but with perfect... More

Location Location Location. that is the word for this hotel. Good Staff, but small rooms, if you have a lot of Luggage that is a problem, and the toilet flush is very annoying.. it needs to be pumped to work. And the breakfast is ok not many options, and the comum area is very very small, almost like a boutique... More
