Nice small hotel in center if tourist area. Good location for visiting sites - one block from Uffizi and right at the edge of the Ponte Vecchio bridge. We had a nicely decorated "suite" with two rooms and a bathroom with an excellent shower/tub. Each room had its own tv and a/c unit, which was good. Breakfast on the 5th... More

One of the best qualities about this hotel is the location. You walk outside the front door and you are steps from the Ponte Vecchio. The staff was also wonderful. Our flight out of Florence left very early in the morning, before anyone from the hotel would be in, and they called to setup a cab and provided us with... More

My family of six adults was very fortunate to stay for six nights at the lovely Hotel Hermitage. Located just steps from the Ponte Vecchio, the hotel is a lovely retreat from the crowds of Florence. Other hotels may have better appointed rooms, but the common spaces such as the charming breakfast room, sitting area, and fantastic rooftop terrace are... More

We stayed at this hotel with friends and family in June. It is a small hotel, but it's staff, location and the beautiful roof top garden make it an oasis in the heart of Florence. The rooms were clean, had jacuzzi tub with shower. The staff were most helpful in recommending restaurants or answering questions. Breakfast was included in our... More

We spent 3 nights at the Hotel Hermitage in July, 2014. My wife and I had a lovely river facing room and the view was spectacular. Check-in and service was first rate and a special thanks to staff for making our stay memorable and worry free. The roof-top terrace was wonderful in the evenings and mornings. We did not notice... I have to reiterate what one reviewer said...which is this hotel must have some newer rooms and there must be some older bad ones because I have NO idea how it could get so many 'awesome' reviews. I rarely write bad reviews and I am a regular contributor to Trip Advisor. So I feel pretty sad I have to write... More

This small hotel is one of the best kept secrets in Florence. From the location to the cleanliness and service, I have nothing negative to say. Everything exceeded our expectations. A great place in a great city.

This hotel is in the perfect location, being just steps away from so many of the city's major attractions. The views of the Ponte Vecchio were gorgeous. The room was very clean and comfortable and a good breakfast was served every morning. The air conditioning worked wonderfully and was a pleasure to return to after a day of sightseeing. My... More

Our Family loved this hotel. The room was well appointed, the bathrooms were spacious and the service of the staff was quite excellent (especially Monica at the front desk). We were in walking distance to every major attraction we planned to see including the Uffizi Gallery (100 meters away) and many of the historic piazza's. My mother is 83 and... More
