Best location!!!! right next to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, couldn't have asked for a better spot. the hotel is very beautiful, we stayed in a superior room which was a great size for two. Breakfast was amazing, had a great selection of fresh meat, cheese and pastries with good coffee. The roof top area is great, perfect to start the... More

We enjoyed our stay. Friendly, welcoming, helpful staff. Room was far more spacious than other European hotels of the same price, as was the well-equipped bathroom. The entire hotel was exceptionally clean. The breakfast room was beautiful with lovely views. The rooftop was even better - romantic, relaxing and a stunning view of the river and of Florence. Excellent location... More

From the moment the bellman took my large suitcases I was impressed with the Hotel Hermitage. It is so close to everything...and has the lovely views of the Ponte Vecchio and the Duomo, both. The terrace is a lovely setting for breakfast in the mornings. The customer service, however, was the most incredible I've experienced to date. The clerk at... More

Me and my mom visited this hotel for a 5 day stay in Florence this August. It is a very nice hotel, located in a strict center of the city, just next to the Ponte Vecchio (very crowded, but very beautiful). Thanks to the location, we have never used public transport and visited whole Florence on foot. People working in... More

We enjoyed this charming hotel. Very small and quiet, but in a lovely location right by the Ponte Vecchio. It was a bit difficult to find as the directions were not great. Breakfast was modest but delicious, and for an extra charge you could get a more substantial breakfast. We enjoyed our two nights here very much.

Hotel Hermitage is a nice hotel right near the Ponte Vecchio. The location is fantastic- right next to Uffizi as well. There's a little Gelato place in front also. The rooftop area is nice to relax. Breakfast was really nice also in a very pretty room. Staff for breakfast were so friendly. It is a little older hotel .We enjoyed... More

Just returned from 5 days stay in Florence. This hotel definitely met our expectations. It is really located a few steps to Ponte Vecchio and city centre. Nice room, good breakfast and wonderful view from rooftop terrace. The young blonde receptionist very kind and helpful. We bought 2 sightseeing tours from her and both were excellent. Higly recommended.

The location on River Arno and view from roof garden of adjacent Ponte Vecchio is unparalled. Service and staff assistance/warmth also supurb. Most memorable time was enjoying the happy hour view on the roof deck surrounded by flowers and greenery.

We loved the location, breakfast simple but adequate. Hot breakfast available with small charge. Terrace garden beautiful, take the time to have breakfast there. Staff fantastic. Beds comfortable, room small but we weren't in it long enough to really care. LOVED everything.

We loved Florence, and this hotel is right by the Ponte Vecchio Bridge. It is very close to the Uffizi and the Galileo museum. The location is great for the value. We were right in the heart of everything and close to all the attractions we wanted to see. The hotel has a great roof top deck where we read... More

Staying in Uffizi

Neighborhood Profile
Uffizi
Every visitor coming to Florence for the first time will immediately identify with Uffizi. As in past times, passing through Via dei Calzaiuoli, you can reach the city center, the Florence that everybody dreams of. In just a few steps, visitors can experience the rare beauty of the capital of the Renaissance. walking delighted across Palazzo Vecchio and overlooking Piazza della Signoria, up to the Loggia of the Uffizi where it is possible to fully taste the talent of the best artists who animated Florence over the centuries. When the sun goes down, there’s nothing better than a walk along the river Arno up to the ancient bridge, Ponte Vecchio. It is full of jewels and decorated by the colors captured in postcards.
