5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife I were visiting Florence and wanted a place that was central to the major sites. The Casci is perfectly positioned and the second floor location is quiet and serene. We were delighted by the welcoming attitude of every single staff member. They were very generous with their time. The room and breakfast represented excellent value. Like many places... More

hotel and rooms a very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. It appears to be a small family run hotel which I find awesome sinceI always love to support small independent businesses. The price is very appropriate for what you get. A wonderful breakfast spread is included. Rooms may feel a bit small but if you have ever... More

I was taken to my room by the receptionist who was polite but definitely in a hurry to do something else. The way to my room was a long line of corridors decorated probably tewnty years ago with bowls of plastic fruits and zig saw puzzles of italian landscapes. The room and bathroom were very clean. His suggestion for a... More

We thank this guest for her comment, eventhough we are sorry to learn that her stay with us did not match her expectations. Yes, it is true that our hotel, which extends over two ancient buildings, has a long corridor, just like all hotels around the world - and that it is decorated with puzzles and posters of Italian landscapes... 3 members of our family stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March. We arrived via train, and followed the very accurate directions for walking provided to us by the hotel staff in advance. Very short walk - under 10 minutes. The hosts were extremely helpful arranging for tours on our behalf in advance. The hotel is very... More

For me this was the highlight of our vacation. Walking off a quiet main street in to the cool lobby of this hotel and then up the lift to the reception was a nice welcome following the walk from the train station. The distance was not that far but a taxi would have been better. A thought has just occurred... More

From the moment we arrived, Paulo, Karla, and Pierpaulo made us feel right at home. This hotel is a great value at a great location, and the hospitality of the hosts makes it a truly special experience. The buffet breakfast was quite delicious with lots of interesting meats, cheeses, and pastries, and unlimited cappuccino and hot chocolate. Rooms were very... More

I can't praise this hotel enough! I had a fantastic 4 nights in Florence staying here. Being so close to the city centre, it's a fantastic location to exploring this beautiful city. I had booked a single room, but ended up being upgraded to a triple room, because a single room wasn't available for my first night. The room was... More

Thanks to the hospitality and helpfulness of Paulo, Karla and Pierpaulo our stay at stay at Hotel Casci could not have been more enjoyable. Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, with free wifi. Nor were we disappointed by hotel's excellent recommendations of places to eat in the evening. Very central to all one needs - the Duomo is just 5... More

very friendly and helpful (I arrived off a late night plane and got to the hotel after 1am and they were happy to welcome me), and very well located (about three doors up from the Palazzo Medici Riccardi. I paid 50 euros a night, Florence is expensive and I thought it was very good value. The buffet breakfast is ample... More
