Friendly, helpful, welcoming and of course an absolutely fantastic location. I highly recommend hotel casci if you like to try non big brand, family run hotels. The staff are all so helpful it makes your stay in Florence even more enjoyable. Our only comment would be to provide slightly softer towels :)

Hotel Casci's best asset is its staff, who really want you to enjoy your time in Florence. They were so welcoming when we arrived, they helped us make restaurant reservations and loaned us a picture book on the city, and even when we were leaving they seemed genuinely interested in where we were going next. The location is amazing--not especially... More

Don't miss this wonderful hotel! We stayed 4 nights and I was very sad to leave. The hotel is in a former palace that has been redesigned as a hotel, with the guest rooms tucked here and there. Our room for 3 was very large, the beds were comfortable and the hotel quiet. The hotel is in walking distance to... More

After three visits to Florence (and three wonderful stays at the Hotel Casci), we simply cannot figure out why this gem of a family hotel is listed as a two-star establishment. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the staff, all of whom are friendly, attentive, and eager to make sure that your stay is pleasant.... More

Location, location, location!!! A few minutes walk from the heart of Florence. Courteous, helpful staff, the mature lady who appears to be the King Pin of this hotel is an old fashioned professional and an absolute treasure. We are not young, and we did appreciate the old world courtesy and extreme helpfulness of this Lady. The breakfasts are better than... More

We traveled to Florence for a few days and stayed at this hotel. First, the location is amazing as it is centrally situated and within walking distance to the major attractions. Secondly and most importantly, the hotel is operated by a family who make you feel at home rather than in a hotel. The rooms are small but very clean,... More

The location is perfect. Its close to museums and the Cathedral. If you arrive by train, its about a 10 min walk; just ensure you have a map and good sense of direction. We took a cab and then walked around to figure out how to get to the train station. The owners are wonderful. They made us feel right... More

Great hotel with a wonderful, friendly staff in the center of Florence. It is located halfway between the Duomo and the Accademia, and it is an easy walk to anywhere in Florence. The rooms were quiet, comfortable, and clean. The staff gave us great restaurant recommendations and arranged tours for us of the Uffizzi and Accademia.
