We stayed one night at this hotel. This is a family owned hotel and the location is good as all the major sites - Academia, Duomo, Uffizi and othets are within walking distance. The owners/staff are super nice and go out of their way to help their customers. Carla is a sweetheart! If you are looking for a "homely" place... More

We would like to thank these guests for their kind comment - it is to be noted, though, that they visited Florence right during the fashion show week, actually really on the opening day of the show, when the town is totally packed and rates are a bit higher than normal - that's probably why they might have found it... Already having previewed this hotel on the internet it was exactly what we had predicted - Perfect! Paolo, Carla and staff were the perfect hosts. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast - so many items to choose from - eggs, salami, cheese, fruit, yoghurt, rolls, pastries. etc. Nothing was a problem to Paolo, whether it was organising your... More

We stayed 4 four nights in Florence, using it as a base to explore Florence as well as parts of Tuscany. Our stay in Hotel Casci helped to faciliate this, enabling us to cover as much as possible. Paolo was very helpful in helping us book the Museum tours in advanced as well the last minute day tours we wanted... More

We just returned from 2+ weeks in Italy, staying at 4 different hotels. Hotel Casci had the friendliest staff, BY FAR! Super cheerful and helpful, with excellent English. Our room was clean and spacious, their breakfast buffet offered a lot of rotating choices, and the location was sooooo convenient -- easy walk to all of Florence's hot spots. When we... More

Excellent hotel, very typical and very well located. Hotel team is outstanding and very nice, feel like I was at home, impeccable service! If you go to Florence by car they can handle an excellent option for parking.

This family run hotel was part of our first ever visit to Italy 20 years ago. We stayed there again only recently to be welcomed by members of the same family. A large, centrally located hotel about 2 minutes from the Duomo. Clean, warm and comfortable.

This hotel was great for us in Florence. We could easily walk everywhere we wanted to go and the breakfast was very good. Our bed the first night was hard, we informed them and they added down to it and it was great for the rest of the stay. If this is a concern, maybe ask for soft mattresses on... More

I went for five nights at the end of November/beginning of December. I was a bit nervous as a first-time solo traveler who doesn't speak Italian, and the hotel could NOT have been nicer. I thought they would be from the email they sent me when I originally booked, but they blew my expectations out of the water. So kind... More

A family-run hotel, the proprietor made everyone feel at home. He went out of his way to recommend and make reservations at restaurants. For our early morning flight, he had a continental breakfast for us and made sure that a taxi was waiting to take us to the airport. The room we had was quite spacious, with a modern en-suite... This was our second trip to Florence. The first trip in Nov.2011 was spent at the Hotel Casci and we were so pleased with our stay that we never considered staying anywhere else on our return visit. The Lombardi family run a superb "home away from home" type hotel. The rooms are charming, spotlessly clean and nice in size. The buffet style... More
