My daughter and I stayed at the Hotel Casci for 6 nights in January, and we were delighted with our choice. We are experienced, independent travelers who spend our days out and about, looking at art. The Hotel Casci was the best situated hotel imaginable, just minutes away by foot to all the sights in Florence. Our room was warm,... More

I stayed at this lovely, family run hotel for three nights recently. The service was fabulous and the position sensational. Very close to Duomo, in fact you can see the baptistry from right in front of the hotel. Also very close to the train station which I walked to, with luggage, when departing Florence. I orginally booked for only a... More

We only got to stay one night but we were very impressed with the staff and the lovely little hotel. Our room was ready even though we were early and on the day we had to leave they stored our luggage happily. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location too-only... More

When we arrived we got a wonderful welcome from the staff. This is a family run hotel, and throughout our stay we received nothing but the very best and friendiest of service, help and advice. The rooms were comfortable and a good size, though we were unlucky with some rather noisy neighbours for some of our stay. However the beds... More

We stayed here in 2009. This is not just a place to stay... the front desk is excellent in recommending places to eat, and places to go! They have a great selection of travel books, a wonderful continental breakfast. The location is great... and the environment is perfect for a family. More

Three of us stayed at the Hotel Casci during the recent Christmas holidays. Its location is central Florence. It is quiet, homey and is hosted by wonderfully helpful people. I loved the friendly atmosphere, the internet accessibility, the marvelous breakfast. And after a big dinner at a local restaurant, it was wonderful to return to enjoy an after dinner drink... More

My husband and i have just returned from 5 weeks travelling around Europe and The US and enjoyed our stay at Hotel Casci. The location was great and the staff are lovely. When we contacted them to check things prior to our stay they always got back to us promptly and were always so friendly while we were there. The... More

We were only here for one night. We arrived by Hertz, that walk was a little long with luggage, but not too bad. After dropping our stuff off at the hotel because our room wasn't ready yet, we walked the block in a half to the Duomo area for lunch. The hotel is so close to everything! We were a... More

You can't ask for much more from a place in the middle of Florence. Location is obviously the big draw. 3 minutes walk from the Academia (David), 5 minutes walk from the Duomo, and 10 minutes walk to the Uffizi. Wonderful restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking. Carla and her son run the place, and their reception guy Pierre is great... More
