Hotel Maxim in Florence is wonderfully located, just meters from the "Domo", in an area with lots of restaurants and shops. The hotel is on the 3rd floor, and is spread on that floor. It's is charming in a way, small lobby and very plain dinning room. we had a room for 4, which was very very crowded. we could... More

This hotel is on the third and fourth floors of a large building on the main pedestrian road of the city center. It is centrally located—just a stone’s throw from the principal landmarks of the historic center. It has an elevator but no parking. We asked for a quiet room on the same floor as the reception and we got... More

Best location, on Via Calzaiouli, the very heart on Old Town. Third and fourth floors in a traditional building (with elevator), the hotel appears to have been renovated not long ago. We had a very adequate room & bathroom, nothing luxurious or very big but comfortable enough Good breakfast. Friendly & helpful front desk. Good value for money given Florence... More

this hotel is in the centre of the tourist strip, so a great launching pad for all there is to see in wonderful florence. Breakfast is basic and why do they give you plastic spoons? That was a bit weird. Our room faced the courtyard so was very quiet. Reception was helpful with restaurant recommendations.

This hotel met my expectations for friendly and accommodating staff, excellent location, very clean, light breakfast, and free wifi. As other reviewers have indicated, it is on the third floor but there is an elevator. There is also access to a small patio for relaxing with a good bottle of wine. As other reviewers have indicated, the rooms and amenities... More

Florence is an amazing place to visit all of the classic art and sculpture masterpieces. The hotel is above a Disney store on a very touristy block (which at first was a turn off). But on the plus side, very conveniently located to walk everywhere we wanted to go- all the major churches and museums, galleries, restaurants. The train station... More

Very clean comfortable place few step from Duomo with good rooms and parking for good price. All staff had very high level English language and can provide assistance and comprehensive advice on all matters. Not best breakfast, but normal for this price I recommend

The hotel is in an excellent location, however, the Lobby is on 3 rd floor and there was no elevator or any hotel assistance to go to our room on 4th floor. We had to carry our languages ourself up the stairs. Staff were not helpful at all. The room had an offensive odor, there were not real towels in... More

Stayed at hotel maxim with my family of 4 for 10 days because we were doing lots of day trips from Florence, the room was a bit small for us with teenage children, but we really were there to sleep, its a bit dated, rooms needing a bit of maintience, but honestly for the location and the price it suited us,... Location is great, only 2 min to the duomo. Be careful with booking! Sometimes it's confusing on the website cuz the single room option is under the double one! We thought we booked a double room but it turned out to be a single. We have to pay 30 euro more for a night! It's inconvenient to leave the key... More
