Stayed October 13-17th. Fantastic location within very short walking distance to the Duomo , Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio. This is less of a hotel and more of B&B really although they do have a reception facility till 1am. We have booked a quad room meant for 4 people for just us 2 so cant complain on the space although I wonder what it would be like if 4 people actually stayed in the room, perhaps a little crowded.... I would definatley reccomend anyone to stay at Hotel Maxim! It is extremely good value for staying right in the center of Florence. It is clean, well run by helpful staff. A continental breakfast is also included in the price. Florence is full of fabulous shopping, so spend the money you save on finding that special leather item!! More

The location was excellent, the room clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast good. A room that faces onto the street can be noisy an interior room would be quieter. Very good value. More

This hotel is in the ideal location for visiting all the tourist hotspots of Florence (situated between the Duomo and Uffizi Gallery). It was clean, comfortable but quite basic. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Plentiful continental breakfast served. All in all, very good value for money. More
