We stayed two nights in November during a 10 day tour of Italy. We were pleased with the rooms which were very large and comfortable. The bathrooms are large and well appointed. We loved where the hotel was situated. The hotel is a short walk to the majority of the major attractions in Florence. We enjoyed walking to the street... More

Booked hotel through Booking.com, excellent communication with hotel after I asked about if there was a special Valentines Menu in the restaurant for the 14th, and regarding changing our bed request from a twin to a double. Hotel was very clean and has quite modern fixtures and fittings. It is located in good area, close to shops, restaurants and bars... More

Stayed here about 2 weeks ago with family. My second time in Florence. The location is great, not far from the duomo maybe only a few minutes walk. The room was small but still very cute and neat. The noise at night was a nuisance... I'm thinking maybe there is either a nightclub or a bar nearby because it was... More

My cousin and I stayed here for 2 nights in December. The location was perfect.Located near plenty of restaurants, shopping and attractions, we were in walking distance to many things. We were able to take a short cab ride from the train (I would suggest taking a cab becuase navigating the streets can be a little confusing if you just... More

The staff were really friendly & helpful from the moment we arrived. My boyfriend had a flu so they offered an extra single room on a discounted price as they were afraid I catch a cold. Breakfast was really good, especially the music in the background. Also another good thing happened, I booked a regular double room, and when we... More

We spent two nights at Hotel Cavour in October and found our rooms to be very nice - roomier than the Hotel Principe where we had stayed in Venizia. A good breakfast is served in their dining room as well. The location is perfect for walking to Piazza della Signoria, plus stores and gelato shoppes. The Hotel has a roof-top... More

We were in Florence for one evening and were extremely pleased with our choice of Hotel, the Grand Hotel is great value for money for central Florence, the room was very large with a huge bathroom and bedroom with a seating area. Only downside was shouting at night time from people in the street, although we were at the back... More

A few steps from Duomo, the hotel is very confortable, clean and modern. Staff is very polite and attentive. Rooms are very clean and well decorated. Wifi works good throughout the building. Breakfast is superb! There´s a roof with a bar and an amazing panoramic view of the city! We would come back for sure!

My cousin and I stayed 2 nights here recently. Very convenient location from Firenze train station (less than 10 euro cab ride) and perfect location for sightseeing and shopping. There's a weird smell in the lobby in the evening, but not really the hotel's fault because of Florence's sanitation history. Other than that, the room was nice, staff very helpful... More

Near Santa Maria del Fiore (The Dome), the huge basílica in Firenze. Cavour is a good hotel, starting on its staff and all workers. Its location is privileged, near a lot of historical atractions, like Santa Croce Church, The Dome, The Palazzo Vecchio, The Vecchia Bridge, Galileo Museum and more and more. One of those nights, we ate a "Bisteca... More
