This hotel is in a great location to all attractions of Florence, such a beautiful city. The rooms are a little small but very comfortable and clean. The restaurant is superb really lovely and delicious meals cooked by a well known chef. The terrace bar on the roof top is especially nice to relax after a big day of sightseeing,... More

excellent hotel, great decor and very good location right in the heart of Florence. The hotel rooftop terrace was great with an amazing view. Also, staff were very helpful, taking our bags and showing us to our room and the young lady at reception recommended a lovely restaurant to have a traditional Florentine steak. I enjoyed my stay here very... More

This was just close to everything. Breakfast, I must say, was not good at all. It does have the old hotel-feel to it but you can't beat it's location. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Only a few steps from the Duomo and major museums.

The hotel was clean and we had a great view from out hotel room. Breakfast option was really good and the staff at reception were extremely helpful right from the moment we stepped through the door. The hotel was in a great location and within close walking distance to the main attractions (only 2 minute walk to the Duomo). The... More

Booked with booking.com and stayed for three nights from 24-27 August with a baby.after requesting the hotel in advance for a room with a view, upon arrival received a room on the second floor facing the " court yard" which had a view of pipelines running from the top floors and a surface full of rubbish. There were no sunlight coming... More

What a treat! Lovely hotel and brilliant staff. Very, very close to the most popular places to visit. Our room was clean, large enough for a city centre hotel and it was well equipped. The restaurant was disappointing though. The food was alright but not great and it was expensive. All in all this hotel is a nice place to... More

My mum and I stayed at this hotel for a city break and all in all it was great. The location is superb - right in the thick of it without it being too noisy. For a quick review here are the best and worst bits: Pro's: 1. Location - amazing. Very close to the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio.... More

Plus points: location is superb, rooms are good, gym in a central hotel is a good facility, roof top bar is a real treat and a real highlight. Low lights: After really enjoying our stay we were upset by the service we received which left a sour taste. We questioned the €40 on our bill which we didn't recognize. It... More

We have just come back from a great weekend in Florence and chose the Grand Cavour hotel to stay in. The location was perfect, almost all attractions are within a 10 minute walk. The view from the roof terrace is amazing both daytime and in the evening. There was a wide choice of items to choose from for breakfast and... More

This hotel was beautiful with paintings actually painted straight on the bedroom walls, very comfy beds, amazing vases. The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Everyone said 'hello' to you and the Reception staff were amazing at answering our questions, giving us a map, best places to go and booking trips/museums for us. I would definitely recommend staying... More
