This was my favorite hotel during our 3 weeks in Europe. The staff was amazing. They were all very helpful and truly cared about our experience not only at the hotel but in Florence. When all of our dinner choices were booked, one of the staff asked if he could select a restaurant for us. It turned out to be... More

The location, obviously, cannot be beat. But, better than the location was the staff. Everyone was incredibly welcoming and helpful from the front desk staff, to the bar staff to the room attendants. We loved our stay and would definitely return.

I absolutely loved the Hotel Lungarno! From the moment we walked in, Pablo made us feel at home. He quickly got us checked in. Pablo also assisted us with restaurants. I walked him through a list of restaurants that had been recommended to me by friends and he provided his opinion on each of them. He also gave us a... More

We stayed in the "Hotel Lungarno" in July, 2015. We had our adult daughter with us, so we opted for one of the hotel apartments. Make no mistake, this is one of the great hospitality experiences on the planet...the position in the bustling, authentic City of Florence is perfect, the apartments are totally superb and the staff are without comparison.... The Lungarno is a perennial favourite of ours, have now stayed four times. Perfectly located to restaurants, the antique district and Ponti Vecchio. Rooms are very comfortable and well priced for Florence. Lobby lounge is the only downside. Small and sometimes hard to find a place at cocktail time. Bar service is slow and dress standards way below par. Need to... More

A great base if you want to see the amazing Ponte Vecchio Bridge by night or day. A stunning hotel, we spent many hours on a very hot day in the outside bar overlooking the River & Ponte Vecchio. delightful & recommend the Aperol Spritzers

This is such a cozy, old-fashioned hotel. The staff and service were outstanding. We were upgraded to a suite, which made this an even better experience. Only one negative, it was warm in the room even though the AC was working.

This is an amazing hotel located perfectly to all things Florence. It is beautifully appointed. Our room was on the first floor. It was clean and plenty of space for our belongings. Maids were timely with room service. Well stocked mini bar. Both my husband and I took advantage of the White Iris Spa that is located as the sister... More

Fantastic ciew of the Arno. Comfortable with excellent staff. The tubs in some rooms are so deep that getting in and out for a shower feels dangerous the hotel is across the river from the art museums etc. That means crossing very crowed bridges ..esp the pointe vecheccio . . Also the street that the hotel faces is very busy... More

Staying in Pitti

Neighborhood Profile
Pitti
Pitti is a neighborhood characterized by art and history. Renaissance architecture such as Pitti Palace, which houses five museums alone, introduces visitors to the green lungs of spectacular Boboli Gardens. Any visitor can wander through statues, fountains, and panoramic viewpoints. Around the garden, treasures like the Museum of Natural History of the Specola and Villa Bardini guide guests through Florence as the cradle of the Renaissance. End the day with an aperitif in Piazza della Passera or the more romantic Forte di Belvedere, which offers an amazing panoramic view of the entire city.
