So we've stayed twice at this wonderful hotel. And I am a tough critic. Front desk team is superb. They are extremely helpful and always with a smile. The lobby/bar area is cozy and always has the right buzz. The bridge over the Arno is a very short walk. Rooms are very comfortable and turn down service is wonderful. Just... More

The Lungarno is one block from the Ponte Vecchio, yet so quiet and gorgeous views of the bridge and river. Staff is extra warm and friendly for the upscale hotel it is. We were upgraded to a double balcony with beautiful views, chairs and table. Many good trattorie in the area that are good values, as well as several that... More

This was our second stay here. It is centrally located on the Arno, and has all the amenities I love: charming feel, friendly staff, white bed linens ;) and clean rooms. I love Hotel Lungarno. The feel is Ralph Lauren in Italy. The rooms are small but just perfect. This trip I had a smaller room, but we had an... More

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is good right at the Ponte de Vecchio Bridge which takes you across to the old city.It is on the quieter side of the river but you can walk everywhere from here. Without a GPS we would not have found it. Trying to drive in Florence with all the people one has to be... More

Great hotel. Lovely Tuscan breakfasts with bottomless fizz sets up perfect days strolling around one of Europe's best cities. We stayed on the 3rd floor with views up and down the river, a huge and comfy bed and space aplenty. Spent one evening sitting down at the terrace with cocktails - not cheap but worthwhile. Stayed with partner in June... More

Perfect location by the river, overlooking the Ponte Vecchio and walking distance from all restaurants, museums and shopping. Staff was amazingly friendly. Rooms have a very cozy decor and the lobby as well. The main living area is great. Definitely grab one of their bikes for a stroll around town.

The Lungarno sits on the quieter side of the Arno- which in no way means it is not in THE best location in Florence- steps from the Ponte Vecchio and a 10 minute walk to the main square. Helpful and kind service, a terrific breakfast buffet (highly recommend booking thru amex fine hotels if you have a platinum card), and... More

First and foremost...go to Florence in May and make sure you have the Firenze Card at your finger tips :)...I picked this hotel based upon the TripAdvisor reviews and my own independent research....for a 20th Anniversary trip to Italy with my wife. I can't say enough about this hotel. Not only is the hotel spotless and very Chic but the staff is warm, kind and very sincere. They sent us to many places that were not "touristy" for dinner. We loved staying in this trendy neighborhood on the other side of the river where it wasn't as crowded but minutes away from... More

We stayed in 504, a room overlooking the Arno and the Ponte Vecchio. The staff were all very polite and helpful, the beds gorgeously comfortable, the room really quiet and great for a rejuvenating weekend in Florence. The breakfast was endless with a selection of fruits and cereals, dolce, great breads, delicious cured meats, fresh mozzarella, hot dishes of oven... More
