The only bad thing I can say about this hotel is that I was only in Florence for one night! it is a very nice place and is great value for money. Just outside the piazza Duomo...a nice walk to burn off an amazing dinner.

A hotel which is good for italian standard, even though it is expensive and at a distance from the mayor attractions in Florense. Service was ok and the hotel is clean and beautiful enough. It has a parking, which is quite expensive, and breakfast, which is more expensive.

The hotel has a nice old grandeur feel to it, but with all the modern conveniances. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service was outstanding. There is a nice swimmingpool set in a lovely garden, which we used every day, since temperatures ran up to 32 degrees C. The hotel is situated on the edge of the historic... More

We stayed here during honeymoon and the staff upgraded us to a superior room free of charge and also gave USA. Free bottle of prosecco. The room was massive and felt like we were staying in a stately home. In light of how beautiful the room was I couldn't not give it five stars but a couple of things did... More

Myself, sister and mum stayed in Florence on a short city break. We stayed at the villa merdici which was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The location was ideal and just a short walk to the main square or even a 5 minute car ride. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. A big thankyou to Fabio for... More

We stayed at the Grand Hotel Medici with our 2 young adult children. Our room was fabulous, theirs okay. Both had 2 baths which made mornings easier. The restaurant in the hotel was to notch, food was delicious and service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this hotel

This is a charming hotel....and we were surprised to have a huge room which was overlooking the garden and pool. We stayed in Florence for a few nights traveling from Venice to Rome...the staff was cordial, the room was clean, and the breakfast...was just okay. Florence was amazing!

Just got back from Florence and stayed here for 4 nights. The rooms were beautiful...ours had a terrace and overlooked the pool. We had a beautiful view of the full moon. The staff was excellent...gladly answered all our questions and helped us with numerous questions. Their restaurant recommendations were excellent!

We stayed here for a week; enjoyed it tremendously. Room was very comfortable, spacious, excellent bathroom and a/c worked very well. Free breakfast every morning in outdoor area was lovely. The concierge & hotel manager were attentive. About a 15 minute walk from the center of the city but very close to the River and the bridges. It was quite... More

This spot was recommended by a friend and we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms are very comfortable and the service solid. Poolside service was spotty at times. Lobby service and concierge service were very good. It was a 20 minute walk to the center of Florence but only 2-3 minutes from the Arno River.
